Absolutely terrible experience. Hands down the worst experience my wife and I have ever had working with Mutual of Omaha. Documentation was constantly wrong. Information was poorly explained. A supervisor had to take over, and that ended up being just as much of a mess. I asked to speak to the manager for the supervisor and got told someone would contact me. That never happened. I would stay far away from this team.
Not as expected I signed up to receive info on a home equity loan or line of credit. What I received was Eric Light trying to pressure me into refinancing my home. I told him multiple times I wasn’t interested in that. He finally stated through gritted teeth, (we can tell the difference) “what other option do you have?” This was the first company that I spoke with so I’m sure there’d be other options. Mutual of Omaha, specifically Mutual of Omaha, specifically Michael Stinson, left an extreme bad impression. From not being honest about the time frame of an equity loan, longer than 30 days to fund, to laziness in confirming a payoff amount. I had a loan with GreenSky that they wanted to payoff as a condition to my new loan. The never confirmed the amount even though I told them they had the wrong amount. Bad experience. This company over promised and under delivered. My loan was tossed around and I had to submit the same documents more than once. It was a very stressful process and was never completed.

Bad experience Did exactly what I said I didn't want loan officer did not listen after saying no refinance they went a head and tried for refinancing
Horrible Wanted to do a HELOC to fix foundation on the house. Their own site ask what $$ is for & home improvement is one of them. Denied me since the foundation needs work, which is why I wanted to borrow $$ to begin with
