Get directionsMy brother stayed here over 2 months. My sister-in-law would learn how to care for my brother when he was able to return home. The nurses and therapist taught my sister-in-law how to care for my brother on a daily basis. My brother is now home and my sister-in-law is doing a great job due to the training and care she learned from the staff at San Diego Post Acute in El Cajon.
I can't say about the care given my Mother under very difficult circumstances. They brought her back from a very serious situation. The entire staff works extremely hard caring for patients that they indeed care about. I can' say much more than she really didn't want to leave.
Gloria, Jerlyn, and Archie in station 4 and Janelle ( the rt) are doing a very exceptional job. I feel safe with my wife if this people are on duty. Every time I asked them to come assist my wife, they responded with smile and come without hesitation. I never heard them complain. They worked above and beyond. This people needs to be commended. Keep charging and keep up the good work.
My brother is there right now and I can't complain. They have been more than patient with him even though he gives them a hard time in cooperating with them, they don't give up on him. I really appreciate that. The physical Therapy and speech is excellent! The Social Workers have been very helpful. I would recommend this place!

My name is Gail Cole I am a resident of San Diego Post Acute Care Center for three and a half years now. When I entered this lifestyle of living in a nursing home I never thought that I would ever have fun again but when I came to SD pack my life changed when Plum company took over Chase Care Center. Everything changed when Jerome Landers came to work 4 San Diego Post Acute Care Center as the activity director. We as residents we're shocked by this man's creativity and Wild sense of humor and his ability to think on the spur... read more
We were satisfied with the service provided by this rehabilitation center. Our grandpa stayed here for 10 days to recover from his toe surgery and even though he wasn't happy about it, he received good care. I thought it was really cool they have a pet pig named Penelope that lives on the grounds and four little chickens. You can schedule a visit with Penelope by appointment =) There's also a garden area next to the cafeteria and a smoking patio in the back. Every day there are 4-5 activities for patients to participate in i... read more
Drake Thank you for everything you have done to help me. You never complain about work or your patients. I may be the most picky and stubborn person but you always help me. Drake you are a hardworker, professional and kind hearted person. He has a great nurse Stephen who is his supervisor. Stephen is always nice to me and always doing his work. I thank God for both of them and I see them as a family. Today I want them to know how much I appreciate them!
