Excellent food, beautiful room. Some confusion with the prices of drinks, but they made an adjustment on the bill without too much of a hassle.
The Sandbar is one of those places that when you enter you feel at home. The decor is crisp and clean, a beautiful rendition of a homey beach house. The service was spot on, the food was impeccable. From appetizers to dessert, awesome.
First I'd like to mention that the decor in this restaurant is lovely...Kind of sand meets sea...The servers/staff are charming, knowledgeable, and efficient. The chickpea fries are addicting, The salmon is always cooked to perfection and not fishy. We had the milkshake and warm cookie dessert as well as sorbets... Everything was truly perfect, portions, seasoning, Martini's:-)....
Everything was great with one minor critique. I drink alot of water and had to ask for my water to be refilled after waiting at least 10 minutes each time. Staff observing water glasses should be a given.
The duck tacos were delicious!!!

Wines that I am familiar with & had elsewhere were about $10 to $15 more expensive here. Anyway, the food was excellent. We started with the Grilled Octopus. It was amazing!! Tender & nicely charred. My husband had the Spring Stew which was yummy with melt in your mouth pieces of lamb & snap peas, parsnips & baby carrots. I had the Hangar Steak which was equally yummy & melt in your mout... read more
We went for a birthday dinner on a Tuesday night. We had lobster bisque, duck taco, crab cake , the halibut special of the night and an side order of fries. Well I would rate all but the fries as excellent. the fries were a bit limp. It is a bit pricey but the it is worth a trip and a dinner. We will go back again and maybe pass on the fries.... ;-0
Sandbar's decor makes the experience of eating great food provided by excellent service all the more enjoyable. The use of different colors, textures and design melded into one space is unique. I don't remember eating in as beautiful and tasteful modern restaurant ever. We live at the beach and feel as if we just stepped outside to a neighbor's beautifully designed and decorated home.
The food was outstanding! We had an early reservation so it was quiet. Loved the decore. The wait staff was very attentive and the food lived up to my expectations. I would definitely dine here again!
