Exemplary customer service, food selections and music overhead.
This was our second dinner at Sandbar and we will return again! The halibut was cooked perfectly with a beautiful presentation! The profiteroles (we asked for them to be filled with coffee ice cream) were served with warm chocolate sauce poured at the table - an excellent choice for sharing!
Beautifully decorated, delicious food, great menu, large enough space without being big... great service ... a definite favorite

Oysters were excellent, and the desserts were really good too!!! The bread was just the way good bread should taste, will be back!!!
I love to visit Cold Spring Harbor for the scenery and a little antiques shopping, and was eager to try this addition to the village's rather small roster of restaurants, so we went there on the Sunday of Memorial Day weekend. I saw the good reviews when I was looking for a restaurant in Cold Spring Harbor. We went for an early evening Wedding Anniversary dinner. The food was fantastic!! My husband had the scallops and I had the salmon. Both were great. The Jumbo scrimp cocktail was excellent. Brendan was our waiter and he was a pleasure. I would absolutely recommend this place for dinner and will definitely be going again!!
Met a friend for brunch. The menu was very limited when it came to breakfast items, but if that is not a concern, the food was very good and I would highly recommend. The restaurant was almost completely empty when we first arrived (11:15) but was filling up by the time we left (1:00). Went to Sandbar for dinner on a Saturday night, had reservations and got seated immediately. Restaurant was very busy but they turn tables fast. Our waitress was amazing, super sweet and very knowledgeable about the food and drinks. she was very attentive and had awesome suggestions.
