Beautiful office and was very happy with my treatment from Dr. Hammerman. Appointment was quick but she spent adequate time listening to all of my concerns. She was able to recommend treatment for me and was very knowledgeable. Very happy patient and would definitely come back. Glad I found this office! Only down is the parking but it's Forest Hills so walking would be much better.

Love how the whole appointment process was seamless! Dr Shivana is great, visit your dermatologist at least once every six months guys!
After having a horrific experience with another dermatology office, I decided to try my luck here at Schweiger Dermatology. I liked how all patient forms were sent beforehand (theyre paperless- YAY to saving paper.) So you save time and energy when you get there. My appointment was for 6:40PM, and I got there at 6:00pm, they were able to see me right away. When I got there, I was the only patient in the office so it does not look like they over book. I regularly go to Dr. Hammerman -- usually at the group's Elmhurst location -- and have also had appointments with Brittany. My experience with their practice has been exceptional. Dr. Hammerman always responds quickly and thoughtfully to my questions, whether during appointments or when I've emailed her. She's approachable and professional. A great, local dermatologist. Had to take my daughter to get a rash/irritation on her hand checked out. Was able to make a same-day appointment with ease using the zocdoc website. The receptionist was very nice, and both the waiting room and exam room were very clean. We met with Dr. Thakker, who was wonderful with my 5yo. I'd never visited a dermatologist before (I'm in my early 30s) bc I always had terrible/no insurance. Now that I'm on a decent plan, I wanted to get an old skin tag removed and establish a relationship with a good doctor that could help with occasional breakouts. They just opened, so I was able to walk-in for my first time, and the sign outside states they're available for walk-ins currently. Ok where do I began; I am so ecstatic I found a great and convenient dermatologist office(70-64 Yellowstone Blvd). I'm a African American male upon doing research; I lucked up on great office that shows results. Just a brief history; I did my own chemical peel, which left my face with hyper pigmentation. I was treated by Danielle Sypher for two months and she is unfit to be a physician. She prescribed Clobetasol and fungal medications without proper instructions and now i am suffering from TSW. She had no idea what was causing my skin disease and could not give me a proper diagnosis - after two months of follow-up with all the medications she kept throwing at me and not knowing how to treat my skin issues - in the end she told me there was nothing else she can do for me. TERRIBLE! Made me wait over an hour in the waiting room to be seen, then charged my insurance $250 for a "30 minute specialist visit" when all I came in for was an annual preventative skin care screening and was seen by the doctor for LESS than 5 minutes. Now I'm getting a bill for $80 for a literal preventative screening? This place is scamming patients, would not recommend and definitely will not be back
