Do not come to this facility or come see Yelena. She rushed me through my visit and spoke over me while I was explaining my symptoms and issue. How could a Dr. do that to a patient? and the medicine she applied didn't help my skin issue at all. I was overcharged on my bill and called to get it taken care of and the receptionist said she'd call me back and then never did. Waste of time and money.

I took my two kids there for skin concerns. They spent 10 minutes at the most with us. Quoted me much higher in the office than they did on the phone. Charged me $150 for the consultation. I left feeling very ripped off.

2 months ago Excellent diagnosis and care here. This is the 2 nd time I have been diagnosed for Scabies. Dr. Crockett prescribed the exact treatment and I was later cleared on schedule. He is a real professional who understands the issue and communicates that to the patient. He has saved me a lot of trouble and concern. I will continue to see California Skin Institute for all my skin care needs.

Took my 15 year old daughter to see Joel Crockett as a new patient. She has redness on her face and some acne. When Dr. Crockett came in to see her he didn't talk with her about what she eats or any other factors that could contribute to what she is experiencing (he did ask if she was treating it in any way, but she hasn't and told him as much). Service in person is great, although I would think twice about booking an appointment at this institute. I was notified of abnormal lab values a few weeks ago. I called the institute many times over the course of 4 days to check in regarding my lab results, but did not have any luck reaching an actual person until after the front desk notified me that my provider's direct line that I had been calling "would take me nowhere." I went to California Skin Institute with a large mole I was worried about. They recommended removing the mole and I have been left with a very large, very hideous raised scar. I have given it almost a year and a half since my surgery in Feb 2018, but it looks like I'm stuck with this permanently. Unnecessarily horrible job--hopefully you can pick out that it's a very very large pink lump (1.5 inches on my shoulder blade) with smaller lumps around it from where the stitches were. Left in tears, Such a bad experience! if you have ethnic skin stay away!!! I had a couple slightly darker spots on face came in Doctor Crockett was confident he could use the clear and brilliant laser to get rid of them. My first session there was no difference so he asked what do you think I said I see no difference but I was aware I would be doing a session of 3-4 to see results so he says well let me do Ipl laser on top. Went for a consultation Feburary 2018 paid my copay. Got a facial was was told it wasn't covered so paid the fee. Got scheduled for another facial, it was canceled the day of & no one called me back to schedule. Months later received a $200 bill.. called several times asking for a manager to call me back. Never happened had 2 receptionist with attitude call back one said my deductible was applied. If it would have been disclosed to be I would have never went to a $200 consultation!!! Called to make an appointment and went to voicemail i left my name and number with no return call so after two days I call again and voicemail is full this time, Not a good way to run business. I will look for another Doctor now.
