I almost never leave bad reviews but in this case I feel it is needed. I asked them to tell me my copay for an elective procedure so I could decide whether to do it-front desk assured me only the $30 copay. I later got a bill for $235...their accounting dept didn't bother returning my calls to make sure this wasn't an error...so I finally ended up paying the full balance minus the $30 late fees out of principle...they've now turned that $30 over to collections...totally crazy. The doctor here is so rude and condescending. If you like being spoken to as if you are a complete imbecile, if you like being seen by a person who clearly feels she is superior to you in every way, and lets you know that with every word, expression and even body language, this is the place for you. She seems to think that her time is so very valuable and that simply because she is a *gasp* DOCTOR she is far more important than you. She is rude and without class. Went to Dr. Gebauer for some spots on my face I was curious about. First off I've never been to a doctors office where I had to give my credit card info before being seen. Apparently they need to have your credit card on file. Receptionist was so wonderful about it, I guess it should have been a forewarning. So I get to see the doctor finally and she examines the spots I'm concerned about. She see's nothing which is a bit of a relief. Don't like giving poor reviews but I really liked the previous dermatologist Dr. Holman but he retired and CSI took over the practice. My visit was very short, told the spot I was concerned about wasn't cancer, the two skin tags I mentioned weren't attended to (I cut them off myself a few weeks later) and that was it....! Not a big problem, BUT their billing situation, now that's a different story. I was referred to Dr. Gebauer by my PCP, but informed my PCP that they should no longer refer patients to this dermatologist. I hope they don't. Like other posters, my experience was a terrible one. I was also seen instead by the PA, Dr. Wapen. I was seen for a yearly skin and mole check as well as possible rosacea. Dr. Wapen was very rushed and barely looked over my body for freckles and moles (having lots of freckles this should have taken a lot more time). Her exam took less than a minute. I just recently went to CSI for a lump on my Back....The Doctor Looked at My Back said I can't help You.....She wasn't in any way Pleasant....Then i got the Bill $140.00 To tell me I can"t Help You. She spent all of 2 minute's with Me.......Before CSI came alone Dr, Holeman owned the practice and a visit like what i just had might have been $55 to $65 at the most........In My opinion I would not recommend at all.......

Normally, I am not a fan of any doctors office. I now make an exception for this one. I needed some skin tags removed and the appointment was scheduled fast, the office visit was quick and very professional. Highly Recommended. Would have been 5 star review if they did not automatically sign me up for both a text and robotic call appointment reminders without asking if I wanted that.

Absolutely atrocious customer service, from both the office aids and the doctors. Only go here if you like being treated like human garbage. When I first saw the doctor, they stuck with me with the PA instead, Dr. Wapen. She should be embarrassed to call herself a doctor. She took no note of my medical history, disregarded all my questions, called me a liar when I would say things that are medically accurate, etc. She tried to prescribe me a medication I was already on, and then, I kid you not, handed me a sheet of paper wit... read more

Appalled by this place. I was referred by an urgent care doctor who felt my condition needed a second (dermatologist) opinion. The doctor spent less than 5 min with me, took no medical history, gave vague and conflicting information and was extremely dismissive of my questions and concerns. Maybe better for cosmetic issues as opposed to medical? I was shocked.
