We usually go to the Dublin office but they said they don't have facial treatments done in Dublin anymore. My son had an appointment for a facial with Evelyn and we were there 10mins before his schedule 9:50. 10:05 and my son is still waiting... and nobody care to say anything in the front desk so I had to ask. 10:10 came and I had to ask again and they have more attitude to tell you, "what can I do? Please find an MD dermatologist to go to. While the PA Yelena is very personable, it's been almost a week and I haven't received my prescriptions yet. When I called the office, there was no answer and I left 3 messages with no callback from the office. When I called this morning, I was put on hold for 10 minutes at least 3 times. Why, oh why, does yelp not have zero stars. I have never left a review despite having frequented many businesses, but this office is so thoroughly bad, I had to. I brought my son here for severe acne and he was seen by the PA. She came in and literally glanced at him and said "you can go on this which might not work or this- which do you want to do". Dr. Crockett is GREAT!! I have been getting Dysport at a place in Livermore that I loved, but my girl there left. I found another place in San Ramon off a friend's suggestion and although the dr was nice, my end result wasn't too great. I had one serious Joker eyebrow! I tried to get them to fix it and they couldn't get me in for TWO WEEKS! There was no way I could continue hiding my eyebrow with my hair for that long! Worst healthcare experience I've had. Impersonal. Apathetic. And money grubbing. 1. Prescribed me all the most expensive non-generics...one that gave me a rash that Crockett told me to wait out. 2. They don't return your calls. Even if your infection will get worse if youre off antibiotics or if you got the wrong medication. Nurse took no responsibility and apathetically said "I didnt get his call". They all of a sudden can call you to book appointments and confirm them. My in-office experience was fine. They need to fix their billing. What's the point of leaving a card on file if they keep sending 3 bills over 2 months in the mail that say at the bottom that if you left a card on file to disregard the bill. Then they never charge the card and keep sending you bills in the mail, never answer phone calls or return messages. So I just paid the $25 online.

I went there because i have a bad adult acne. Doctor Joel Crockett was very helpful, He listened and gave his professional advice! Beside that, the staff were very friendly and has a smile on their faces which i loved to see. Even though i was 15min late for the appointment, i didn't have to wait long to see the doctor. I definitely recommend doctor Joel to everyone who have any skin problem.

Dr.Crockett was a great listener and he delivered. Not only does he give his professional advice but he also listened to your needs. I tried the Juvederm filler for the first time and loved it. Thank you again Dr. Crockett

Not sure why the negative yelp reviews. I have been to four different California Skin Institute offices. I liked this one the best. The office staff was friendly and efficient. I was offered coffee or water when I checked in...a first from any medical office in my experience. Joel Crockett was the doctor who examined me. Very nice guy-pleasant and professional-good communicator. Parking is a little tight...narrow spacing and few open, but the office Is easily accessible.
