Absolutely horrible. I would definitely not recommend this dermatologist. My mother has melanoma so I have a history of cancer and I went in for an appointment and I was told that the hairstylist should check my scalp. Also, I had a few appointments and needed touch ups and since the dr. was out on vacation I rescheduled but was sick for my appointment and they made another one finally weeks later but said because it was later they could not honor my appointment for a touch up. The wait time at this place is abysmal. There's a mission statement posted at the reception desk referencing both patient needs and urgency. I chortled. There's a complete lack of concern by the staff to do anything expeditiously other than accept your co-payment.

My family and I decided to try Schweiger Dermatology because it was close to where we live and some of the reviews were good. I unfortunately haven't had a positive experience. The group is always running late and barely care that me and my kids are waiting for over an hour. Then today, my husband had an appt to get a mole removed and they had no idea why he was even there and the doctor that he scheduled the appt with wasn't there and not even schedule to work today. This place is like moving cattle. Just in and out, no explanation, no patience. I went to see Todd Newman and his bedside manners are so stiff and forced. The first time I went in, I paid my insurance co-pay. $70. Then they wanted me to go back for a follow up visit to see how the medication was working. I made the appointment when I was there. I came back but I had a horrible scary cyst on my face so when I went back, the receptionist told me the FOLLOW UP VISIT would cost me $195!!! Who charges anything for a follo... read more

I went there once. The treatment service is so so, but the after service is sooooo terrible!! I have some acne at my chin, they give me some daily medicine, which I found out is doxycyline (I really don't know if taking this is ok or not), But this medicine make me don't have period for two months. The real terrible thing is about the money. Excruciating wait times. You walk in for your appointment and every waiting room seat is taken, SRO. You know they are double or triple booking as only 2 PAs are on at a time. I like the PAs but they push you to get prescriptions from their pharmacy and sometimes the cost is $50 for an rx. I refuse and sometimes a $10 substitute is available.

I went to see the PA for a mole on my nose, the first time I waited 45 minutes, at least the mole was removed. Went a month later because of another mole that was bleeding & bothering me, still on my nose & the same PA Newmann, went in quickly, so quickly it took him 2 minutes in & out of the room, said it's fine no need to do anything, his hands smelled like mayo, when he touched my nose. Do you like medical facilities that seem like revolving doors? If so, this is the place for you. I made an appointment here because my husband had been and liked the Todd Newman, Physicians Assistant he saw. I made an appointment for the same PA after having a skin reaction for a couple of weeks (I had called around to many dermatology offices and most of them didn't have an appointment available for about a month). The office is nice and clean, but the wait time to see a doctor is always long and I always feel rushed when I get in the room. I booked the first appointment of the day and still had to wait over 30 minutes to see a doctor. The doctors are really nice, but I find that they want to prescribe as much as possible and get me out of the room. I've been coming here over 3 years and have had the same experience every time.
