They overcharge. Very bad to inform to their patients. Not profesional staff. Every time I went there I got Dr. Newman and he did a terrible job. I needed it more info about my case but he didn't provide a answer to my needs. Terrible Terrible Place. Wouldn't recommend it at All!
Physician Assistant Todd Newman will make you feel at ease during your visit in prep for your return. Their 'massive company' (as he put it) took over 11 months to provide me an overpriced bill that did not fix the removal of a skin defect. He went on to explain he takes no responsibility for said delay or false removal and that the time delay is out of his control due to company size. At first, everything went so smoothly. Walked in and out within 45 minutes. The problem started at the pharmacy. This place prescribes whatever they want that isn't covered by your insurance and you go through hell and back 10 times over getting told 1 thing by the insurance and a completely different story by the office. Very shady practice and unprofessional. Billed me for a specialist when I did not even see a doctor, but a physician's assistant. Basic courtesies like introducing yourself and everyone with you are absent at that practice. I will never return. It is probably the most unprofessional doctor's office that I haver ever visited. I want nothing to do with them.
I have been a patient at Schweiger Dermatology Group - Hoboken for a few years now. The patient experience has always been frustrating, but the doctors have been good (Kopp and Tardio). Scheduling is a complete nightmare (Zoc Doc bookings from their website usually cancel/"cannot be completed" and you end up having to be placed on hold to try and book an appointment; reception/scheduling department is horrendous). I had been a patient at their Hoboken location and I was very disappointed. Diagnosis was 100% wrong and thank goodness I got a second opinion or I would have gone "under the knife" for cancer. NO CANCER at all. This practice is in for the money ...... period. Shop around and I am certain you will find a reputable dermatologist will treat you professionally.
Deeply disappointed with their conduct. Came in for a simple 5 min recurrent procedure, checked in 10 min before my appointment. the waiting room was packed, barely any standing room and definitely exceeding COVID limitations for space. 25 minutes AFTER appointment time, i was not called, and asked about status. The front desk boy said they have no rooms, and when i asked more, admitted the PA is still in surgery and is running one hour late, with 5 people still ahead of me. Horrible experience. Doctor never provided script that she was going to email. Called to check and schedule a procedure. Never got a response on either. Remembered I had to pay upfront and I believe I have a balance in my favor. They can't even find me in their system! One of the most unprofessional offices I have ever encountered.
Worst experience ever. I never leave reviews on Yelp which shows you angry we are at this Dermatology group. My wife was prescribed a cream for her eyes which the doctor said may or may not resolve her dry irritation. Well she put on the cream and had an adverse reaction and her eyes started burning. To add insult to injury Schweiger charged the copay for the follow up appointment to try to alleviate the burning sensation.
