I've been going to Dr. Groisser since I was a college student - when I first dealt with adult acne. I never had skin problems as a teen and then suddenly, i had pimples everywhere. It was horrible and embarrassing - specially at 22. Anyway, went to Dr. Dr. Groisser and he prescribed topical and oral medicine that - while it did help A LOT, did not wipe out my acne. I am writing this review of the West Orange office. I have previously been to the Verona office where I waited up to an hour at times for an appt. Not here! I have received only pleasant experiences with Annie M., a PA at this location. She has treated precancerous spots on my face and back and done annual screenings. There is usually only a short wait time with scheduled appts. and the receptionists and medical assistants are friendly. Never any insurance problems either! I hate to see this place of business get a bad rap because of mainly one doctor. I want to share my great experience with Robert Nossa, M.D. at Dermatology Group. Apparently by reading so many reviews, good Doctors can be hard to find. I had searched and tried some other doctors to remove skin tags from my face and neck with no good luck. If you value medical knowledge more than how social the Doctor is then this Doctor is for you. Not only is he extremely quick but he is very thorough. Like seriously with all these people saying that he is "too quick" or socially awkward. Well people don't go to medical school to become socialites. If you want a social Doctor that doesn't know what he/she is doing then go see someone else. You can't tell if someone is a good Doctor or not without being a Doctor yourself. So don't label him as incompetent.

I read the reviews before making an appointment for my wife with Doctor Grossier so was aware of the gripes about waiting and his manner. Well the wait is a part of going to a good Doctor and yes he is quick but he is also friendly and efficient as is his entire staff. We were both very pleased with the effort and recommendations/explanations and the one procedure done and the one scheduled to be done. I've known Dr. Groisser for many, many, many years. I was one of his first patients... I was a young teen ...and then... I grew up, I went to college, I had a career for ten years.... and then found I myself back in NJ!.... I had a horrible experience with Dr Glashofer for my MOHS surgery. He did not explain anything about my procedure and spoke in a very derogatory manner . The office does not provide you with any aftercare supplies as other MOHS specialists do. Schedules extra visits to drag things out. Very disappointed !
