Funny, I've experienced better at the same office. I've previously seen Dr. Rothman, who was congenial and normal. This time I saw Dr. Groisser, who was rude and has no bedside manners. The digital check-in device was not working properly, and was unnecessarily annoying. I waited an hour. Dr. Groisser rushed in, pulled my robe open, and spent about 15 seconds looking me up and down. This felt creepy and rude, especially since the problem was on my shoulder. Then he left in a whirl. He sent a $400 prescription and $9... read more

I just saw that Dr. Groisser is still practicing after 20+ yrs. since I first saw him for removal of a cyst on the top of my head. I never forget the question he asked me over again, "have you hit your deductible yet?" Apparently he wanted to know what to charge my insurance. Back then a provider might've been able to get more than his contracted fee. BTW, the cyst grew back, and he had excised a spot of skin with hair follicles, then stitched it up, so there's a small spot with no hair. Moot point now that I'm losing m... read more

What is ridiculous about this Dr. Groisser is that he is very unprofessional. How he makes it on the "Best Doctor List" in NJ is beyond me. He walks into the room on his cell phone. Stops talking on his phone to ask brief questions. Takes another call on his cell phone.(Since we could hear what he was saying, they were obviously personal calls to his girlfriend) One would be concerned about the level of his interest in his profession. His staff seems to cower around him, tip toe around a moody boss. Very sad. When he does s... read more

I visited Dr Groisser and was absolutely disgusted with his unprofessionalism. I had a small growth on my forehead and he removed it. As he was stitching me up he received a call on his cell phone. To this day I'm still shocked that he took the call, using his shoulder to prop up his phone as he finished stitching!!! I would never, ever let this "Doctor" touch me.(this review was posted on 12/1/13 but for some reason disappeared-didn't even fall to not recommended) so I'm reposting.

Terrible. Everyone I talked to was like they were being fast forwarded on preview. Referrals somehow never go through. You have to wait hours for anybody to take care of you, and when they finally remember that you are there, sitting in a hospital gown in bitter cold for 45 minutes. Guess what?..... The doctor that you actually scheduled to see isn't there and you end up being thrown about in an impersonal manner by Mr. Grossier. Who is so much in a hurry that does not ask basic questions concerning you illness and you hav... read more

This is the worst service I have ever received from any doctor, ever. I waited over an hour even with an early morning appointment. I eventually complained to the office staff and the doctor was in sortly after. Dr. Groisser burst through the door and was unbelievably rude--no apologies for the wait, no explanation--instead, he spoke to me as if I was the one in the wrong for complaining!! He barely made eye contact and has the absolute worst bedside manner possible. He told me I would have to make separate appointments to g... read more

My hair started slowly thinning at 37 and rapidly at 39 - not balding, but I noticed it just was not as thick as it had been. A trichologist (non-MD) took one look at my scalp and suggested I see a dermatologist immediately because it appeared I may have scarring alopecia which, untreated, results in permanent hair loss. And, even if it is treated, still leads to permanent hair loss in many women. I was devastated, scared and immediately booked an appoint with Dr. Groisser. After waiting for about 1.5- 2 hours past my a... read more

I showed up this morning as a first time visitor and the waiting room was packed with patients. The desk staff said the waits were over 1 hour! They are massively overbooked. Worst dermatology office experience ever. I left after 55 mins of waiting. Go somewhere else where the provider gives better service.

Please think twice before going to this Doctor. I can deal with his social awkwardness however it is his abrubtness and rudness as well as his inability to speak clearly and explain the conditions at hand and the proceedures before they take place that bother me. He is quick to cut rather than explain all of my options. I felt very awkward in the exam room with him even though there was another female nurse in the room. His full body check for moles was so unbelieveably quick that I know for a fact he did not even catch... read more
