We initially contacted this company to have them come out to provide us with an estimate for repairing or replacing the windows in a 100+ year old home thatwe were in the process of purchasing. They were punctual for all appointments and very helpful in answering all of our questions. We completely agree in letting the member (I've learned not to use members names) do as many or as few windows as their budget allows them to do at one time. We will offer some advice that if they have one window to finish the West face of the building to try and finish it but otherwise replacing windows as the budget allows in a very practical idea. See above I emailed on a Monday night that I had a broken window, and at 7:45 AM the next day Victor called to let me know he would be by at noontake a look. Got my estimate that day, and he made an appointment for Friday to install the new one (all of this fitting into the schedule of the tenant in the apartment that had the broken window. I paid by credit card (very easy) and was emailed my invoice and a receipt of payment. This was so easy! Would definately use them again!
I had a great experience with Scientific Home Services. Jon came out to do the quote and helped explain the different window options and what the installation would entail. The price quote was competitive with the other 3 price quotes I received. I decided to go with Scientific based of the great reviews for the company and that they were using Soft-Lite windows. Extremely well. Victor gave us a great estimate - much less than all others. He showed and a helper replaced the window which required a ladder due to being at the top corner of the house. the work went very smoothly and Victor was very professional. Replaced thermal octagon window. Old window lost seal.
Working with Scientific was easy from day 1. The quoting/sales process was hassle free and everything was explained to me right up front. The work was done on time and looks great. I would definitely hire them again for any window work I may have in the future. Remove old windows and replace with 4 double hung windows, 2 picture windows, and one awning window.

We have used Scientific before on storms that were custom made. We called Jon when we needed replacement windows for our basement. Jon is very personable, there is no BS and the quality of the product is great. The installer Roberto was punctual,efficientand cleaned up nicely after his job. He even helped me with a cable wire that was going through the old windows. 4 new vinyl replacement windows for basement.

Jon from Scientific came out and checked/measured all the windows. I left a list of questions because my son was going to be home at the time of the appointment while I was at work. I wanted to know about casements so I could put furniture in front and not have a hard time opening/closing. He pointed out that, since they would face the street, they really wouldn?t go with the architecture of the house but he would give me an estimate anyway. Overall the service was excellent and I was extremely pleased that they didn't try and sell me replacement windows that I didn't need. The cost of fixing my windows was a fraction of what they would've been and I was pleasantly surprised that I could get the work done the same day Victor came out.
