They were extremely knowledgeable. They knew exactly what to do. Home Depot came in 2x as much since they wanted to rip out the existing door and window frames. John mentioned that these were fine and so was able to provide a better price. The workers were great! They installed everything in a timely manner and cleaned up afterwards. Very happy. I had them install doors and windows in the garage.

We were very pleased with our experience with Scientific Home Services. We were looking to get all new windows in the house and the entire process from estimate to installation was great. We are satisfied with the windows. They promised me a darker window on the inside but they were out of stock. They started with one window and brought a window with the wrong curvature. It took them two months to get the correct windows. I held back the final payment until they were done. They came back and finished the job. They finished up ok. We had the old windows taken out and had some nice vinyl windows installed. Scientific Home Services installed new windows in my house.

Dear Member, I was aware of the problem with the arched window. As you know, your house was built in 1924 and the arch on your window was not a true radius as we had assumed. Instead of trying to make something fit, we admitted our mistake and made a template and had the windows remade at a loss to us. We would much rather take a loss on the job that do it incorrectly. Excellent work overall. From the etimate to the finished product, the Scientific team was top notch. Our house was built in the 50's and the windows were original metal frames.It was alot of work to remove them. The clean-up was very good and the workmen were polite and efficient. Firstly, they did not try to convince us to replace the original windows. We like the way they look and did not think the greater expense was warranted. They respected our view without a word otherwise. The new storm windows are great and the work was done in a professional manner. They even decided to reorder one storm window when it was discovered that another contractor had made the window difficult to access when rebuilding our porch. We had a very good experience with Scientific Home Services, from beginning to end. Our salesperson was informative and helpful and he had good suggestions. The sales process was without pressure - no unnecessary upselling. The whole process seemed to proceed timely and according to estimated timeframes. Called Scientific Home Services and made an evening appointment for a salesperson to come to my house so I would not miss any work. The salesperson that came out was one of the owners of the company, John Koloms. John was on time, he was very knowlegable, not pushy, very profesional. He answered all my questions in detail.
