Worst customer service ever I made arrangements to pay my storage in full on a certain date and get a phone call saying they are going to auction my stuff before that date and that they won't change it after they are the ones that made the arraignment of as long as the storage bill was paid in full before the end of the month I would not have to worry about losing my items now they're going to auction all my stuff before that date it is ridiculous there's no communication at that office amongst the staff about what is going ... read more

Unsafe storage facility. Company states that the property manager will be on the premises,when that is a completely false statement. The office door is locked, and no one there during their business hours. It has a phone number on the door to leave a message to get in touch with the property manager, many voice messages sent, no response. On the day of move in I sat there for 1 1/2 hours waiting for property manager and or a response to my many phone calls. If you plan on staying for any length of time, just know that your unitl cost will go up over $100 everytime they raise the rent!!

This location ********* Ave. IN ****** ********, is increasing rates randomly ad without reason or notice. I have called in previous years when this has happened. The first time they reduced the rate back to what it was but it was only until I caught that they raised it $60/mth again with 3 months. This year I at the new raised rate and in February, they raised it an additional $60/month which I fought without any luck. They told me to downsize the unit to reduce the rate. Unfair Charges - Review I scheduled a move-out through the app on 08/25 but ended up with a surprise $109 charge for September. It turns out I missed a detail in the move-out email, which mentioned taking the lock with me.When I called to resolve the issue, they claimed I hadn't officially moved out because I left the lock behind. Public Storage in ********* ** is a joke & all they care about is money. I was previously told ******* that as long as I made a move out arrangement before the 1st that I would be able to get a prorated amount. I set my move out date for September 1st & am now being told (******* CALLED THE *** OF MOVE OUT) that I have to pay a full month rent in order to move my things out. The worst corporation I ever dealt with. They are holding my belongings hostage because I lost padlock key. I spent hours on the phone with their untrained,ignorant, and even slurred speech customer service people. After *********************************************************** ***************** but so far accomplished nothing. It looks we are headed to court.

The worst customer service and shady business practices I've ever encountered in my life. They didn't contact me outside of one email to inform me of the lien and auction. I honestly lost everything because they couldn't inform me of my autopay no longer being active. No late payment notices or anything. They're crooks and they will literally sell your entire life rather than attempt to make the best decision in settling a debt. They need to be shut down for their shady ways and at least be penalized for ruining people's liv... read more
