I don't recommend this shop in any capacity. They are horrible at communication, and the prices are extremely unfair. We found the same service for our water pump at another Ford dealership for $2k less than they quoted us at Serramonte Ford. To make matters worse, once we came to pick the car up after speaking to our service rep the car wasn't ready, and I had to wait 30 minutes while they finished up the paper work they should have had finished the week before.

Really disappointed. Procedures that should take no more than a day end up taking several days, with weak excuses given each time. Last visit, supposed to replace battery (among other things) and never did. Got the old bait and switch on the extended warranty as well. Looking for a new dealer for service as I really don't want to ever return there.

Could have been way better. Went for an Oil Change and inspection. -Oil filter was installed loose & leaking -Didn't do much of an inspection because I wasn't provided a detailed printout and wasnt informed about the badly damaged lower balljoints, the warped rear brake rotors, or the transmission leak.

2007 e350 mercedes, flew from lv nev. to sf. to buy car salesman said great cond. checked car looked and drove good my bad never took the fibreglass panels underneath off and inspected underneath. my mech. wants $1000.00 for leaking engine oil pan, and trans. pan gaskets. used car as is where is be ware of these words from anyone especially a car dealer irving pettit other than that i love the car

This is the first and last ford I ever get. They sold me a used car and the check engine light came on 3 days later and they refused to fix the problem. They did everything they could to find a reason to not be liable. They even went as far as accusing me of being involved in an accident due to miner damage. Once I found pictures of the car before the purchase of the damage that was already there they switched up again and said it was something else that I caused. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!!

The website advertised price was 89.99 but I was charged 129.99. The service writer couldn't do anything about it and said it was a known mistake for a long time but no one does anything about it. Wanted to pay for it before the service but the service writer said after when it was done. The only good thing was it was done fast but then again I was the first customer. I guess I'll give one star just for that? When paying for it, I was charged a %3 fee for using my credit card. That was unheard of!!! This is not a mom and pop... read more

Took my truck in for a recall. Picked it up and brought it home. They called me a day or 2 later and say they forgot something and needed to finish. They went to my house and finished it while I was at work. Literally the first time I drove my truck (30 feet) my dash started going off with a bunch of errors and lights. I have photos of dash to confirm mileage. I called Ford and they said they could look at it but would charge $290 fee if they determine its wasn't their fault.
