Restaurant week menus was very enjoyable. Great service. Noise level was too high for conversation.
We had the “Restaurant Week” menu. Food was great. Really a nice place.
Visited during Reastaurant Week 2022. Outstanding menu with wine pairing. Ambiance and service was impeccable. Highly recommended !
We dined here during restaurant week on the island. I chose the wine pairing choice and it did not disappoint! Four courses with an excellently paired wine selection. Hubby ordered off of the regular menu and enjoyed the veal ravioli and a bowl of gumbo. You can't beat the views as we chose to dine inside at a hightop in the bar area. Service was excellent as well. Will definitely be returning soon!!

Food was excellent and the staff extremely friendly and courteous. They were obviously understaffed though as it took approximately 3 hours to finish dinner.
The location is ideal, the waitress was attentive. We got the tasting menu and I felt the entree--steak and scallops were not that good. The steak was so thinly cut that it arrived over cooked, the potato was served cold, the scallops did not have a nice sear and the rice was also cold. For dessert there was an option of strawberry cake or key lime pie, I got the cake and my dining partner the pie. The cake was super dense, overly moist, it was so heavy that I did not eat it. I took my wife for her birthday and it happened to be during restaurant week. We both ordered off of the special menu and the food was outstanding and the portions were sized perfectly so we could enjoy all 4 courses. Ela's is one of our favorite restaurants and they have never let us down. We recommend Ela's to all of our friends that come to Hilton Head.
