Food was absolutely great. Good service. Tears and rips in the upholstered seating lessened the overall appeal to the restaurant.
Most impressive was the food. I ate the Mahi Mahi with Mango Salsa at top Cilantro Wild Rice. I chose the pear salad which included fresh greens and pecans. Delicious! i wanted to change the rice for another side because i am not crazy about cilantro. The waiter talked me into keeping the dish as described. The sax/singer was amazing. Prices are high almost $200 for 2 with apps, salads, meals and drinks.

Great ambiance. We had a great time looking out over the water and watching the yachts. The lobster bisque was wonderful! The wine selection was fine. However, the food was seriously lacking. The lobster was raw and was served over a great risotto with more bisque over it (needless to say we were bisqued out by then). Oh my goodness! The fried green tomatoes were outstanding, not too much breading, just perfect. We had the special, Black Sea Bass and their Crab Cake dinner. I can't begin to say how delicious they both were. To complete the meal, we had an assortment of desserts...all were awesome. Carla was server extraordinaire. A very enjoyable evening.
Excellent and relaxing
We very disappointed with our dinner last night. The service was mediocre at best. My appetizer was OK. My wife had the caprese salad and it lacked mozzarella. When the entrée came my yellow fin tuna was cold. My wife's steak was cooked OK (med rare) but that was cold as were the vegetables. Beautiful restaurant but an unfortunate meal. Prices on the high side but the portions lacking.
We were visiting from Ohio and chose Ela's Blu Water Grille based on reviews on TripAdvisor. Perfect choice! Despite the weather (torrential downpour) the view of the small harbor was pretty cool. We were seated right on time. Great location within the restaurant a few tables away from the musician. For our meal we chose scallops and their filet. Both were prepared perfectly. Service was excellent. Overall, a great night!
