Located on the back water of Hilton Head Island, this restaurant has a beautiful view and quiet ambiance. The service was good and the food was very good. Recommend for a couple's romantic evening.

This time at Ela's we were able to enjoy Restaurant Week and the menu they put together was superb... It was a treat to try several different items as they had four (really five courses) and the variety was wonderful. We always go to Ela's when we are in Hilton Head and this trip it was even more special.
This is rapidly becoming one of our favorite "go-to" places on the island. We have never had a poor meal here in several visits, and this last visit was no exception. The short ribs were "melt in your mouth" good, and the grouper was just outstanding. Service was friendly, efficient, and unrushed. You won't be disappointed!

The presentation of the crab cakes I ordered was superior and they were excellent -- made in a somewhat different style than most other places and delicious. The shrimp cocktail appetizer my wife ordered was filled with big, succulent shrimp and she enjoyed it. A side of two small potatoes (for $7) was a pricey add-on and they were not good. Awesome!! An hour drive was worth it. Ela's elegant announcement is short of the quality of the treatment they provide. Top notch!! Very impressed with all that was offered during restaurant week!! We'll definitely return!!
This was my third visit to Ella's over the past 1 1/2 years. We had a rough start from a Service perspective because no server appeared to be assigned to our table, and then a cocktail arrived in a glass with lipstick stains (yuck). However, when we saw the special menu, with wine samplings, we settled in for a wonderful dining experience. The Prixe Fix menu with wine pairings was only $55 per person and the choices were exceptional. Will continue to return to Ella's on our Hilton Head trips!
My wife and I selected Ela's from the Restaurant Week (RW) selections because the menu options looked to be a perfect fit for us. The location, at the marina on the second floor, yielded some nice scenery and we picked our dinner time reservations to coincide with the sunset on a beautiful Friday evening.
