Nice harbor view. Great place to eat on the porch when it's warm enough. Good variety of choices on the menu. I didn't know what to expect with the lobster Carbonara, but it was excellent as were the scallops, chicken and steak. Good moderately priced wine list.

Ela's is one of our HHI favorites so we were happily to see they were open Christmas Eve. The table we requested was waiting for us. Our waiter paced our meal perfectly and the food was great. Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year to all the Staff that make dining at Ela's a great experience.
Dined early to avoid the crowd. Dave our waiter was great! Helpful with menu selections, which we were extremely pleased with. Table by window had a great view of the marina. Would definitely return for dinner at sunset or lunch on the porch overlooking water. Overall food was great and staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Good value!
New waiterand he did not present specials. After he left the check we had to wait an extremely long time for him to pick it up and check us out. Fortunately we were not in a rush.
Originally we had reservations for 6, I chose to move it to 5 based upon an online suggestion to catch the best view of the sunset in Hilton Head. They were correct. Excellent food. Excellent view. We were immediately seated upon arrival at the best table in the restaurant. Gorgeous view of the marina. We shared the fried green tomatoes which were the best I've ever had. Our entrees: me-grilled scallops over the most rich risotto with 2 homemade chips strategically placed on top. He: crab cakes with grilled vegetables. Because this restaurant is on the water and slightly tucked away, it's not crazy busy and has great views. We went for a family dinner, and the lights out on the deck were just beautiful. Wonderful decor, great menu selection, and also not overly pricey.
Food was good and well presented. Portions were average to above average. Wait staff was pleasant and attentive.
