The seafood is absolutely delicious and well prepared. Entree prices are steep, and if all the entrees included a starch and vegetables, I would say well worth it. Personally I hate to have spend 7 or 8 dollars on a side of vegetables when the entree costs between $26 and $30. But, the bread basket is very nice, the appetizers selections were wonderful and there is a decent number of wines available by the glass.
The food and the ambiance were ok.. I don't know if I would come back.. There was nothing that bothered me significantly except that I asked if we could sit outside and they said all the tables were reserved.. but we came, ate, left and there was a huge amount of tables outside that were still empty
Ela's is a beautiful restaurant located in the Shelter Cove marina. They have lovely lighting and great service. The food and wine were superb. It's expensive and worth every penny!
It was good but not exceptional given the price point. Duck was great, filet was over cooked. I would recommend to a friend only to get someone else's opinion.

Had a great evening with out of town guests...sat outside, great view, great weather and great food.
Cosy second floor bistro with great view of Shelter Cove Yacht Basin. Food was good but service slow the night we were there. Some of the staff had been drawn away that night to represent Ela's at a food tasting/music event at the Neptune Circle in Shelter Cove. I suspect we would have had a better experience on a "normal" evening.
We were only people in the dining area and it seemed like 10 minutes before our waiter came to the table. The food was good but we had much better meals which were less expensive.
We have eaten here several times recently and always enjoyed it. They have a "bring your own wine without any charge " policy that is great and unusual. Having said that, their wine list is very good and moderately priced. I arranged a family reunion dinner there and was given a private room with full staff at no extra cost!! We focus on seafood and their's is always great! Avoid the bar area on weekends as it tends to be noisy.
