Good food, Great service, Beautiful view, eat outside,we ordered the lobster nachos, grouper,keylime pie.All was very good.
Ela's is on the water with a great view and great outdoor seating. Pricing is on the high side as is most of Hilton Head. We had the steak special which was excellent. Service was very good. We went on a Tuesday night at 6:30 and had the place almost to ourselves. The only downside was the gelato. It was lousy.
all five of us were very impressed by the views, the interior & exterior set up, the service, food & wine. We shall be back !
We reserved an outside table and arrived at 6:30 pm. Perfect timing to watch the changing colors of sky, water, and marsh as the sun set. Beautiful. Oh yes, there was food. We shared dozen oysters to start: fresh and cold, with small (and sufficient) dishes of a red sauce and a mignonette (vinegar based), plus lemon. We ordered two salads: the Caesar (unusual but excellent), and an arugula/pear salad with slivers of almonds and pears on top and a small but exquisite square of goat cheese on the side. Now one of our favorites on Hilton Head. It's hard to beat the view of the Shelter Cove Marina while you eat. Very peaceful. We shared the lobster nachos & they were excellent. Hubby said it was the best swordfish he ever ate. My grouper was excellent!!

The food was delicious and our server was awesome!!!! We were not able to sit outside, but still enjoyed a fabulous view!! Will definitely be back
We were very pleased with the redecorating and new menu. The marina views are always good and in cooler weather I would eat outside. The bar can be loud, especially when sports fans are cheering their teams and that does disturb serious eaters. The food was excellent, generous portions, beautifully presented.
