We have been coming to Hilton Head for years and have a list of favorite restaurants we want to get to and this one will not make next year's list. We thought we would try something new and it was mediocre at best. My son's kids pizza was the best dish on the table and the presentation was better than the actual meal. My husband had the halibut and I had the scallops and they were both okay. I hope your experience is better.
Been coming to the island for years and am so happy there is a restaurant in shelter cove that is a success!!! ELAs has the best views on the island with their wrap around porch and the food is so amazing! The lobster carbanara and scallops are to die for! Friendly service and beautiful decor makes this an absolute success! If you want a memorable experience on the island, no question ELAs is the place to be!
We made this choice at the last minute mostly for the view. Turns out the view was outstanding when I could look up from my plate. I had the grouper which is my favorite fish and this was maybe the best ever. My husband had the crab cakes which were melt in your mouth. Never better. We also had in our party an 8 year old. The server accommodated him perfectly in this fancy restaurant.
We can't stop thinking about this place. We both had the lobster cabonara- it was absolutely wonderful and perfectly prepared. Our server was excellent and the evening could not have been more perfect.
If you want the perfect dining experience, you can't go wrong with elas. Everything was great from the moment we walked in till we left. Views, food, service all outstanding. Some of the best wine prices I have ever seen, we had a bottle of Caymus Special Selection for $130, the same price we paid for a bottle of regular Caymus at other restaurants. Dinner at Ela's is a must when visiting Hilton Head

Ela's has the best seafood on HHI. Both the Grouper and Halibut that we had last week was excellent. This is one of the best seafood restaurants that we have been to in quite some time.
We had been told ELA's was a great place to visit but weren't sure because of the mixed reviews we had read online. I DON'T know what the reviewers were complaining about, we had an AMAZING experience. There were several seafood options and everything was fresh and cooked perfectly. I got the Ribeye that is organic from Chicago and loved it, the coffee rub was amazing and the summer risotto that I added was light and oddly enough, refreshing!! My husband had the halibut.
