Dinner at ELA’S Grille was another outstanding evening. Great water and harbor views of boats, kayaks, paddle boarders. The signature calamari was our first course and then the new flatbread margarita pizza. Chef Meagen’s lobster carbonora was not only delicious it was one of the most creative presentations I have seen. Roasted Wahoo with salsa was cooked perfectly. Delicious diver scallops. Out of this world!! Everything was so good and luxiourious. We felt like royalty.
So far my favorite meal on the Island. The food was fantastic. They start out with an herb bread and honey butter that we couldn't stop eating. Great Caesar salad-cool crisp lettuce with shaved pieces of parmasean. I had the stuffed chicken roulade. The combination of flavors was amazing- stuffed with bacon, basil, strawberries (one per piece of chicken) and goat cheese, topped with some sort of crisped melted cheese ( probably more goat). This is our second year coming to Ela's. Every time we come down to Hilton Head, Ela's is a definite. See you next year.
Food, service and ambiance was amazing. I went while the sun was setting and it was gorgeous.
Food was good, Really enjoyed the gazpacho. Husband had crab cakes which were very meaty and delicious but small portions for the price. Overall had nice dinner. Beautiful view of harbor and good live music coming from around the bar.
The view is beautiful, especially at sunset. The service was outstanding. The wine list was good. The servings were small, but adequate. Parking during season is terrible. We have to drive around Shelter Cove for nearly 30 minutes to find a parking spot.
By far the best restaurant on Hilton Head. Everything was perfect. If you have not been there yet, you are missing out.
Wonderful guitar playing singer in the bar. Porch view of fireworks on Tuesdays. Nice decor!
