Very nice view and quiet for lunch. Good lobster roll sandwich and side salad with great vinaigrette dressing.
Excellent food, wine and service. We sat outside (group of 5) and very much enjoyed the view and table. Favourite place on island so far.
Our first time at Elas's was our anniversary, and it was overall a great choicee. Nice appetizers, reasonably priced wine, and excellent entrees. My scallops were perfectly cooked. We ate outdoors and enjoyed the view, as well as a quiet setting. We will be back.
Our evening at Ela's started with seating at an intimate table with lovely panoramic view of the waterway and marshes surrounding Shelter Cove. We were provided an impressive wine list, but also offered several special wine choices, including two lovely Napa wines for which we were told Ela's is sole South Carolina distributor. Great location with superb harbor views. Went on holiday weekend and found service to be excellent and seafood delicious with many options. Will return on next visit to Hilton Head.
We have added Ela's to our "must go to" list. We sat at a table overlooking the bay where no other tables could be around. We watched the sun set to one side and the full moon rise to the other. The Fried Green Tomatoes, wedge salad, and Pan Roasted Grouper were superb. Wide selection of wine. We selected a Cabernet our server recommended. Great food, wine, service, atmosphere...
After vacationing for many years in Hilton Head, this restaurant is the perfect addition to water-front dining. The staff was welcoming and friendly, and our server was very knowledgeable about the menu and made great recommendations that did not disappoint. Our appetizer was lobster nachos and prepared on individual, homemade chips, not a typical pile of gooey mess the typical nacho name impiles. The pan-seared grouper was phenominal!! The menu has much, much more we want to try. I highly recommend Ela's!

Dinner & service was excellent. Just me and my wife on a quiet Monday evening. Sat outside and it was a beautiful night. Watched people walk the dock checking out the boats. Definitely will go back during our trip to Hilton Head next year.
