This was a great place to have a wonderful dinner. The menu was nice with a good selection of items to choose from, the waitress was very helpful with the wine list, and the kids menu consisted of some decent options that went beyond the typical fried food kid fare. The deserts were large and tasty, and the atmosphere was really pretty. I would certainly go back there again, and would want to do so on a warm evening so I could sit outside under the little lights, looking out onto the water. This is easily one of the best dining experienes on Hilton Head Island. The food is fresh and beautifully prepared; the wait staff is friendly and knowledgeable and the view is outstanding. Don't miss this wonderful restaurant.
We visited here in the "off-season" and on a Sunday evening so did not take advantage of the extensive outside deck. Live guitarist which was very nice. Loved our booth for two tucked into a corner! Food was good. No doubt the moderate noise level would rise exponentially if the restaurant had been even half full and the bar had more than 3 patrons.
We're going to add this to our list of favorites on Hilton Head! The water view of Shelter Cove is one of the nicest on the island. Food was scrumptious! Crab salad appetizer was delicious, as was the pear arugula salad, scallops and hush puppies. We'll be back!
Using the directions on the ad in the local magazine was not helpful. We had to ask a passer-by where it was. We were very pleased once we got there . Food & service was great and we would recommend it .
Fabulous f'ood, Valentine's specials, great service, beautiful view, would go there again in a heartbeat.
We revisited Ela's for dinner after a long hiatus (due, mainly, to geography). Service was professional, knowledgable. Food was beautifully presented and very good. Music in the bar was, at first, too loud to enjoy but song choices became more mellow and, hence, much more enjoyable. Overall a lovely experience.
This is now our new favorite restaurant on Hilton Head Island. The food and view were great and our server was the best..
