Even though I've been to HHI many times this was my first visit to Ela's. This was one of my best dining experiences on the island and maybe the only place that combines a great view with outstanding food. Seafood is fresh and prepared creatively and steaks are like you're favorite NY Chop House. The bar area is beautiful and has good energy.

We have been to HH many times but never to Ela's ans we will go back again and again. We were early about630so noise level was excellent, we were able to talk. They made perfect cocktails as we are fussy about our manhattans.. Service was excellent, polite young man who was there when needed but not hovering. Enjoyed the grouper-presentation was beautiful and it was tastefully prepared. My husband had the Caeser salad which was good but had too much dressing. I had the pear arugula salad which was excellent. Entrees are a bit pricey but food was very good.

This restaurant was obviously flaunting their wares for the uninitiated and care that, having been initiated, the customers return. The tasting type menu was perfect from start to finish. Everything was unique and delicious. Service was the best we've had in the area. Our waiter didn't ask numerous times how we were doing but knew when he was needed. The view is lovely and we plan to return for lunch to see it during the day. When a special occasion arises, this restaurant will no doubt be first to come to mind.

The view from the restaurant over the harbour is fabulous. The food is great and lots of unusual selections. It is a bit pricey but worth it.

My husband and I went to Ella's for restraint week and had the prix fixe menu and it was so filling and delicious. We had wanted to try Ella's before but having a tasting menu for a great price was our push to go. We will totally go back and try some of the other decadent foods on the menu.

Dined here with a group of six during restaurant week, and we were totally impressed with the service and food. We had a small issue with the swordfish being a bit on the dry side, but it might have been our fault, because we were so taken up with passing around the avocado ice cream that we might have delayed our server in getting our plates to us in a timely manner. We took advantage of the restaurant week menu with wine paring. It was lovely and not too much food. The food was delis ions and the wine appropriate. My only comment would be that the risotto needed additional seasoning otherwise excellent all round meal.

Great view, food, and service makes this gem a real winner. No lunch on Saturdays? But still a great find in H.H.
