We had a very poor experience here. We made reservations months ago. When we got there, we were treated like we just strolled in off the street. The woman at the host stand acted like a real pill. She took us upstairs clearly to an overflow area to a table with no view. The view was why we went there! When we got up there, we said we would really prefer to be downstairs. The food was mediocre at best and the service was awful. We were seated upstairs with a rather large party who got all our servers attention. We waited well over half hour for the check which came with a very cursory half baked apology. We would never recommend this restaurant.

ELA’s was unfortunately very disappointing. The service was terrible - it took more than 1.5 hrs to get our main courses. The server kept asking if we wanted more drinks. I had the lobster - overall the food was eh. The ambiance was very lovely - great music and overlooking the harbor.

The view and location are fantastic and if you can get a table outside it’s lovely, but unfortunately the food fell flat. The crab stack appetizer was tasty but was described as having mango but was canned peaches; the wedge salad was chopped pieces of bagged romaine lettuce (not the Bibb lettuce described) ; the caprese salad was drowning in dressing. We went for Sunday Brunch. When our order first came out one dish was wrong so they took them back thinking it was the wrong table. Realizing only one was wrong, they brought 3 back. The one that finally came was an omelette that specifically requested no tomatoes. By the time they cooked t again, we would have been done. I would have expected this to come off the bill. Our Easter dining was ruined by a very rude manager. Two of the ladies received their meals and while one was well cooked, the other was mushy and fatty. Our waiter asked the manager to come over and he was extremely rude to our guest.....while he finally got her another fish, it made all of us uncomfortable with his attitude. When we were leaving, he apologized to me for the problem, not to the guest who had the problem....showing that he had no idea who was the customer who he had dealt with. After reading so many favorable reviews of Ela’s, we looked forward to celebrating there with Easter brunch. We were quickly disappointed on arrival. Although we had reserved a high top table for four people, we were squeezed at a tiny standard table- intended for two people - next to the bar. All 6 meals were poorly cooked. We sent 2 of them back and they made no accommodation. An Awful Easter Brunch. What a shame a beautiful location but poor food and service.
