Quality of food was a huge let down. Ambiance is excellent! Shrimp and grits was no where near what was described. Almost no taste, despite quality shrimp and grits. Where was andouile sausage and tasso ham taste/flavor. There was NONE! The price for this was poor quality/value. Really disappointing food experience.

Our waitress was good and professional. but the hostess/assistant manager (not sure what her position was as she didn't have the courtesy to introduce herself) definitely wasn't and her attitude was appalling. We were ousted from our table before we had ordered desert and with drinks still to finish because there was another reservation requiring our table. She was rude and made it out to be our fault. Service was terrible. Food was over cooked, waiter only came to the table to drop off check, and never once did he ask how the meal was. Wife's birthday never acknowledged or offered (meaning I would have paid for something. Not the type of service you would expect from a place like this.
This was by far the worst dining experience we have had in many many years. My guess is this place is surviving on tourists who just chose it randomly like we did, w/o knowing much! We were greeted by an extremely rude and unfriendly, miserable host whom we later learned was one of the owners! Enough said! Food was not good! I should have just thrown $200 into the water. Our waiter was good but that’s about it.
