Hostest was not accomadating and saw that with another couple
I indicted on Open Table reservation that this was an anniversary dinner but none of the wait staff acknowledged our anniversary despite a couple near us being repeatedly acknowledged for their anniversary reservation.
Grouper was dry, tasteless and over cooked. Looking at all Grouper plates being served, it seemed they were cooked ahead of time and heated up for serving. Not a good value for a 36 dollar plate.
We had a great experience the week before, so we went again for a birthday celebration. We think our waiter was impaired, he spilled half of the water glasses (with ice/glass shattered on the floor). I addition, our reservation was at 7PM and we did not get our meal until 8:40 (and then several were luke warm). Would have a hard time recommending this place. The prior week we had a lovely waitress and she was on top of everything.
Over priced and snotty waiter
Looking at the menu I anticipated a delicious and creative dinner. I was disappointed to have a somewhat flavorless meal. I had the seared ahi tuna, that was to come with a seaweed salad. It was a very okay cut of meat and instead of the seaweed salad it had a broccoli slaw that was similar to a packaged Green Giant mix that you can buy at a grocery store. Arrived early, promised table, table not ready more than 10 minutes late, no clear time when table would be ready, left without eating. (Had 2.5 year old toddler with us !)
Lovely restaurant on the water with a great view and well appointed, but the service is lacking and the food is mediocre. Disappointing....
Wine and fried green tomatoes were great, my Snapper special was way over salted and dry. Service was good once the waiter came over but it was close to15 minutes after we were seated for anyone to show up
