Outside dining very nice. The heat lamps are a plus. The oysters were very small and not shucked correctly. Tuna 3 ways ok. The grouper was pan sautéed but had very little taste. The vegetables was the best part. The scallops over lobster risotto was very good but scallop portion was small for what they charged. Our server seemed to forget about us. Disappointing and overpriced.
Food was excellent. We had grouper and tuna. They also had a solo male singer performing in the bar. Very nice night out.
Upon arrival we were told that our table was outside as we made reservation online. It is February and a cool night and did not want to sit outside & did not request outdoor table . We were then shown to a terrible table upstairs where there were 2 long tables of maybe 15 people each. Noise level was deafening. My wife and I had been here once before and had an enjoyable outside overlooking the harbor. We came back for Valentine’s Dinner. What a mistake! The restaurant changed the special menu that had been posted on their website. Upon arrival, they took us to a table up 3 flights of stairs to a view of wooden beams and a concrete post. The only thing timely about our service was when we asked for our check... The food was fair. My wife enjoyed her scallops. The shrimp and grits were the worst I have ever had. We will not be back.
One of the worst brunches I have had. Omelet was cold, cheese not melted, lump crab over processed and not even close to being jumbo lump. My friends was as he put it sub par.
Christmas Eve 2017. Staff appeared to be in rush to get out for the holidays. Food was bland and appeared to be have been prepped hours before and then heated up. Had turkey dinner which was dry and oysters rockefeller which was ok but not great. Wife and I had a specialty cocktail which was light and didn't appear to have much alcohol in it. Eaten there many times before and was always pleased, but this time it was just below par.
Extremely poor service + response to our request Re: slight menu modification. Truly disappointing....
Overall, would not return to this restaurant nor would I recommend it to others. We were seated promptly and our server arrived quickly with menus and water and described the specials. But then she disappeared for 10-15 minutes. When she finally returned, we were ready to order. I chose one of the specials but to my disappointment she informed me that it was now sold out, only one had remained. First wine glasses presented were dirty, service was rushed, food was overpriced, and waitress never brought more water after asked. Wedge salad was hardly anything other than lettuce.
