Shift4 is Untrustworthy I ordered a POS through Harbortouch 10-2016. Had so much trouble I exchanged it 11-2016 for a credit card machine. Because of automatic debits and no invoices or statements ever provided and I failed to audit them. I finally started asking about getting a statement last year. Only to find out they have been charging us for the POS I returned 11-30-2016 plus all the associated charges that go along with a POS every month. Do not shift to shift4 Kevin Perez tricked me into moving from the restaurant manager. We lost $******* in one month as they did not integrate the online and third-party orders. It has been 2 months, and customer service and Kevin failed to answer calls or emails.
Worst product worst service. The sweet rep who sold us the system, neglected to mention many of the important details in regards to cancelation, she may was have been unaware or lied about it. In our conversation with billing she even said she thought we would get charged $25 but we were charged $450. Not only is it an absolutely terrible product, but they scam you with a promise for $5,000 signing bonus and charge you $450 a month after cancellation. Tell you anything to get the business then charge you over what they promised The sales team promises the world - specifically a 2.5% overall processing rate. After 3 months, my processing was up over 3% - when I called to get it fixed, they refused. What a huge hassle, now I am going through the whole process again. These people are without integrity.
Horrible On-Boarding If you get approved, it will take probably 60 days. When opening a restaurant, you do not have time to waste on your POS system. The new third-party verification is absolutely horrible, and the sales team cannot get any help to update the customer. Horrible!
They Are taking Money from my account without installing system This company wanted to change my software from Toast to them but we have not unpacked the system. Supposedly no charge. They have charged me 1549.68 without my knowledge or approval.They billed me twice in January. That is how i Caught it. The Salesperson told me if i would take the system she would credit the money. Trash not meant for volume This system is absolute trash. Slow processing, doesn't matter about the offline mode if you can't leave the page because it continuously has the processing circle. Too many touches to do the smallest thing. Finding tickets sucks. The tip assigner is straight trash. Don't get this. It's garbage. We're coming from dinerware which used to be called a joke, but if that's a joke Skytab is a whole $#*!ing stand up special.
DO NOT PURCHASE! 15 years using POS systems Shift 4 OR known as $#*! 4 has multiple issues daily, I've had the system for 7 weeks. There are so any problems I cant list them all, Do not use for restaurant orders, This is the worst system on the market.John *******996
