Not only did they continue to charge me my price more then tripled they said because of inactivity fees. Worst company ever, they over charge on credit card processing fees, then when you try to cancel the service they would take very long time to reply and to cancel the service, I DO NOT RECOMEND IT STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!
I wish I could give zero stars. I have never in my life dealt with such an incompetent horrible in-human company. I understand contracts and everything else. However, when I contacted them to close my account December 2, 2022, I was told that was no problem that they would send in the information to do this. I was even told that they would not be charging me any more and they went as far as to say “I will try to get the 2 months you were inactive refunded if possible.” I spoke with a MR L****. Omg. The BS to cancel , phone calls and more calls, took fees for past 2 months after was told account was closed, now blaming me telling didn’t fill out correctly, now again telling me never emailed my closure, constantly transferring to others, making you repeat all info, speaking to people telling you they don’t have access to account. Iam done with them, they can keep my $500 not worth the hassle to recoup my money, beware dealing with this company
We are a large online seller here in Oregon USA, we had a older store we were hosting on another platform and hoped to move to the shift4shop / 3dcart platform soon. After a few months of building and prepping to move to shift4shop, support informed us that daily site backups are no longer done, and store restores are not done! I wish there was a negative star. The worst company to deal with. We signed up with them back in 2016. We have had constant issues with them. The hide the fees so it is difficult to figure out what the real cost is. We went through all of their hoops and they say we are still under contract and keep pulling money out of our account. They have been less than helpful and I would not recommend you use them for credit card processing. Reading other comments it sounds like this is just how they do business.
Awful company. I bought gift cards specifically for a favorite restaurant, and one card correctly states the restaurant name, and the second is for a restaurant 2000 miles away!!
We are a small business trying to switch payment processors because of a switch in our CRM/eCommerce vendor. When switching to Shift4, the company went out of its way to port our credit card data but does not reciprocate when trying to leave. They provide zero options, claiming their tokenization is proprietary. I understand wanting to keep our business but this is absurd. Horrible company to deal with. We signed up with them back in 2016. We constantly had issues with their equipment and how cards were run, ie double charges etc. We went to move companies last year and were told we were still in contract so they charged us for a year after we switched companies. Now they are saying we owe them $600 for equipment that was sent back. I have tracking to prove that.
