Deserve no stars! SMI Imaging has very poorly running systems all the way around. I informed them prior to my procedure that I did not have a co-pay for the imaging. They insisted I pay a $50.00 co-pay before my imaging would be performed. I paid the $50.00. My imaging was completed on November 3, 2022. Im just another victim of their theft of money! They demanded money up front for services when they were NOT entitled to it! They way overcharged **( per our insurance ***** and never offered an apology or a refund! I had to call them and demand my refund! Thieves!!! Well see if I ever get a refund. Checks in the mail I also notified the *** of their business practices and will also notify the Attorney General as well as attorneys for a class action suit against Simon Med Imaging.

I made an app for my second mammogram for 12.19.23 at ***** telling them that I had my first app at ************************** but it needs to be done again. I filed out the form on my computer and went there. They gave me another form to fill up and finely the lady said that that they can't see me because they don't have the previous image and she made another app for 01.09.24 at *****. Still trying to receive a refund from July 2023. Was charged my "estimated" coinsurance of $1100.00 for a thyroid scan to be performed. Insurance claims submitted twice to my insurance carrier showed I was only responsible for $192.00. SimonMed then sent me an invoice for that amount. I called them stating I had the receipt that they charged me $1100.00 on the day of the exam and expected a refund not an invoice for any amount due. I WAS CHARGED FOR XRAY, WHICH MY INSURANCE COVERS AT 100%, BUT SINCE IT WAS A SATURDAY, WE COULD NOT CALL *********** SIMON MED HAS BEEN SENT PAYMENT BY ********** AND I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO GET MY REFUND BACK FOR MORE THAN TWO MONTHS. ALL THEY TELL ME IS THAT IT IS BEING PROCESSED....

Awful, avoid at all costs! I had an MRI done at the Phoenix location and while the technical aspect of things was fine, the rest of it was a nightmare. They lied that my insurance would not cover everything and charged be almost $800 for two exams, then said they could not perform one of the exams at that location but could not refund me for it. It don't even deserve a 1 star. Simon Med in general is ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. I got a bill in August 2023 for a MRI I had done in June. They never billed my insurance like they should have and I've been calling since August to get it ********** nothing accomplished. I've been on the phone this morning since 856 am trying to get in touch with billing. Not a single soul knows wth they're doing let alone know how to transfer to billing nor a manager. SimonMed should stop billing me after I've already paid. I have receipts to prove I've paid. We've contacted SimonMed at least 3 times to straighten it out and they've repeatedly said they would and yet we keep getting bills, text messages and emails asking for money. What does it take to get this resolved? I think this is a scam and they're taking advantage of those dealing with serious medical issues and adding this on top of it. Do NOT use this company for anything. The billing department will overcharge you hundreds of $$$ and it will take going to count to get a clear Refund. They Even Frustrated my insurance company.
