Simon Med Imaging has been lying to me about my two refunds for changing me deductibles. The first one was for Thyroid Ultrasound on 1/4/2023 for $175.12 the second charge was for a Biopsy on 3/1/2023 for $200.23. Ive been calling through these past months and every customer representative keeps telling me that it is being refunded and to wait 30 days. Then I call back and its in batches to be refunded. Lies! SIMONMED IMAGING OVER CHARGED ME FOR COPAYS ON SERVICES PERFORMED ON 10/1/22 AND 12/22/22. I MADE EIGHT CALLS TO SIMONMED TO DATE, 4/19/23, AND WAS GIVEN MANY DIFFERENT EXPLAINATIONS OF WHEN I WILL RECEIVE MY REFUND. IT LOOKS LIKE EVERYONE I TALKED TO JUST MADE UP THE DATE I WILL RECEIVE MY REFUND.

This business is a scam, they don't follow doctors orders or per-authorization for *************** make you wait forever when you have an appointment already scheduled, money *******. I went for a Cat scan of chest and abdomen paid up front $150 for both. While their talking to the Xray technician uncovered I can't have the tests with contrast due to potential iodine allergy from a test I had with iodine in it, years ago. We called and received a cash pay quote of ****** for my husband's MRI. At check-in they inquired about insurance, and we advised we had no coverage in the ***************, and we would be paying cash. We paid the quoted price of $****** as a cash pay patient. We are now receiving bills for $943.00 because they billed our insurance and are now asking for the balance. This company is conducting unfair business practice! They get your insurance information prior to the service and charge more than the copay at the time of service. After reading all the reviews, how do they get away with this business conduct??? it seems like they take your money and use for their business operations. it takes ***** days to process the refund according to their billing department. they should be paying interest on that money already! this shouldn't be the case when they get the insurance approval before the... read more

They are great company for imaging, but I paid for my imaging and then my insurance paid it. I have been fighting with there billing department for 2 months now to get my money back. They can never get a supervisor on the phone to help me and they keep just telling me to watch my bank.

According to my insurance's explanation of benefits, SimonMed double charged me for my ultrasounds and I have not been able to get ahold of anyone to request a refund.

Has not issued refund for overpaying co-pay. I had an exam on Jan 9, 2023 and paid a $175 co-pay. Received the *** from my insurance and the co-pay should only be $50. I have called SimonMed 5 times over the last 3 months and they tell me everytime to call back in 2 weeks. The last time I called they told me they hadn't received the *** and to call back in 2 weeks. They have the most horrendous customer service I have ever experienced in my life. Complete disarray and misinformation - won't transfer you to a supervisor, won't give you a reference #, can't even CORRECTLY capture the billing issue to resolve an issue. They could not get their act together on files coming over from SMIL, even when they confirmed BEFORE My appointment they had my reports. They billed me for 3 tests when I had 2. I've spent hours trying to resolve issues and they clearly DO NOT CARE.
