I had an issue with my foot and my doctor sent me to Simon Med for MRI (rule out fracture). I filled out all the paperwork the day of my appointment in the waiting room and went to pay the copayment. The person at the front said there wasn't any copay for this appointment. I asked if he was sure; he said yes. I figured I must have met my out-of-pocket expenses for the year since it was November. Used Simon Med once because the location was convenient. Will never use them again. My wife went about 6 months ago for what should have been a ~$130 traditional ultrasound but she was forced to pay $700 out of pocket at time of appointment. The receipt shows we were charged for two additional procedures that were never performed. I've called a dozen times or so and have been successfully refunded for one of those additional procedure but haven't been refunded for the other yet at least 5 months later. My wife was scheduled with breast cancer in ************************************** ****** every 6 months for either a mammogram or MRI. Several months ago she felt a lump on her breast and contacted her doctor who ordered an ultrasound through SimonMed in ****, **. Had them call me for an appointment which I made with her then I had a billing question so she transferred me and thats when I was on hold for over 30 minutes without someone answering and I tried calling every number possible with still no answer. I went on their website and canceled the appointment and it gave me another number to call with no answer. Worst customer service Ive ever dealt with. They called today to confirm that I was coming!!!
I would not even give them a one star, just trying to log in with correct password is a nightmare, you make an appointment and still it takes over an hour and half to get in if your lucky. Try to contact even through on their online chat what a joke it only allows for certain criteria's and even than you left hanging, they over book causing a long wait time hours, can't even get any help on the phone either it takes multiple attempts being transferred from all over the place. Worst imaging facilities in ********* *******. Constantly kept cancellation of appointments. Facility in Hunter Creek beyond worst. Thier open MRI and X-ray constantly down. Their staff is just nasty with no customer services. They all need to be fired. Call and called ********* Regional managers cannot get to speak to them. They both hide behind voice mails.
Absolutely worst imaging facility I ever been to . Had appt. Did things THEIR WAY and filled out paperwork online that took half hour . Then show up early and had to repeat paperwork again. Then was taken back later than appt. time, and no no one else was there. Not a single patient. Then took 3 pokes for IV and no vein issues. Get poked all the time and always get on first try. Continuously cancel appointments that have spent weeks waiting for. The reason is the same broken machine, they wait for the day of the appointment to cancel even though I called the day before to confirm. The rescheduling of appointments are weeks apart so your left waiting weeks to actually get in and it doesnt matter if your in pain.
