Once There, All Went Smoothly For whatever reason, our two movers were over an hour late arriving on move-day. I had to call central office to indicate that they had not arrived. It was only then that I heard anything directly from the two young men. Once they were there, everything went smoothly and we loaded the apartment in three hours. If I needed to move again (NEVER), I would use them again.
Great service! From planning to moving to PAYMEBT, this was a delightful company to work with! Every person we talked to was efficient and friendly! We will certainly use this company again in the future!
Moving help The helpers who were sent to help us load our moving van for our move from CA to ID were nothing short of fabulous! They were quick, efficient, careful of our possessions, & knew how to pack a moving van to the absolute capacity! We cannot say enough good things about them!
Pleased customers We were very pleased with the service. The gentlemen arrived at the scheduled time and unloaded the truck without damaging anything.
Great company This is the second time we have had an opportunity to use SML. Happily, both times we had Nick as the lead, he was great and a very hard worker, as was his partner John. On the AZ end, we had Lucas and Niko. They too were hard workers. Both teams were friendly, professional and worked non-stop. Over charged for service The 3 men and a cart scheduled for the MiLan move turned out to be 4 youths and no cart . They were there less than 2 hours and fortunately my neighbor had a cart i could borrow and i was grossly overcharged for the time. The 2 men instead of the 3 men and a cart that came to Greenwood were very professional Still no cart. But, I paid for 3 men. Why did I not receive a credit for these inconsistent charges.
Excellent all round I was very impressed with the entire experience, both the help packing and unloading my truck. I don't know how they do it, but SML got me polite, energetic, careful, considerate and smart people on both ends of my move, from two different moving companies. The moving truck leasing agent didn't deliver on the promised furniture pads, and the SML people were still able to pack my truck in such a way that there were only very minor scratches on some of the furniture. everything went smothly Very good in moving and fast,, the only thing that was broken on the move was the headboard to my bed which I had someone to fix. (A heavy object was put between the bottom boards and separated them). I would hire them again excellent job.
Just what I needed -- and the workers were pros I was debating picking up day laborers for a DIY move, then decided to try SML (via Penske, where I rented the truck). No regrets whatsoever. In fact, the workers who showed up at the loading and unloading were smart, quick and really experienced. Particularly on the loading, they knew just how to pack a truck, which is a skill. I'd recommend SML to anyone facing a move.
