This is just my experience with SML. The problems were with the truck and were addressed be Penski. My only concern was that none of them used hand truck and worked so fast that furniture and walls were scrapped at times. Actual damage occurred in transfer from one truck to another but that wasn't the SML crew. Crews at loading and unloading were on time, cooperative, helpful, courteous, and did whatever asked!
Not fun from CA to Tulsa. With my move out from Hanford, CA, the two movers shared they had had a late night. They were nice, but moved really slow. They could have gotten the job done in a lot less time had they been more motivated. For example, one guy sat down on the floor and began to disassemble my twin bed frame. I couldn't believe it. Return to KC from Pueblo The load in Pueblo was ok until the last fourth of the truck. Then the odd shape items were just kind of thrown in.The unload in KC was good overall but one of the crew mis placed a lot of boxes in the wrong areas though the boxes were clearly labeled. Overall an ok experience and easy to use.
Good communication throughout, excellent service, overall worth the hire. Crew leader on point, hustled like a pro, I was never concerned that they were stretching time. They made it work in the 16' truck I rented, what should have been a 20' truck minimum. Your crew leader should be your trainer. Thank you, will recommend to others.
I am so glad that I hired SML to help me with my unloading at my destination. They were in touch with me to verify my needs. They promptly arrived at my destination and were able to carry out their duties seamlessly. SML was a great service to help me with my move. I would recommend them to anyone who needs help with their move. The team leader was professional and the team worked together to get the job done efficiently.

Not impressed Movers showed up to load a piano from a separate location. They had no clue they were moving a piano and were totally unprepared--did not have a dolly at all, much less a piano dolly--and we had to pay extra for the piano! The rest of the move (at another location) was straightforward and went fine and was quick, just over an hour. However, we had to pay for a two hour minimum, so we didn't really feel we got our money's worth. All in all, not a very good experience.

Great job by both of our teams! We had two movers help us load in Jackson TN they helped us move all of our heavy furniture! They were very nice and respectful taking great care of our furniture. The team that helped us unload in gat Limburger was also incredible they were also courteous and worked hard to help us get everything moved in during a two hour time limit! Great job by everyone
