I brought my dog here after reading the reviews. First, they refused to take my dog off of my ex-husbands account. I explained that he abandoned the dog a year ago and they still insisted that he give permission for my dog to be under my name. It blows me away that in 2019 I have to get my husbands permission to have my own account. That was the first frustration. My family has gone to South Temecula Veterinary Hospital for a few years now and we have always been happy. Unfortunately after today we will not be back. We brought our dog in to update his vaccinations. He is a great dog but has some separation anxiety. The vet tech came to the waiting room to get him to do his vaccines and my husband asked to go back with him to help keep him calm and the tech said we couldn't. My account is listed under Joseph Brazfield; I have a new puppy and brought him in for his initial exam in December 2018. I met with Dr. Lucas and she checked out my puppy and everything was fine. My puppy had just gotten his first round of vaccines from the breeder the day before. Dr. Lucas informed me that because breeders don't typically get legitimate vaccines or store them correctly that I should probably get vaccines from the vet. Yes, this will take care of your dog, my little dog they diagnosed it wrong when she really didn't have any problem. Now they have this paw plan. I was still asking questions about it was a paper and a brochure that explained. Nothing was said about if I cancel it that I had to pay some cancellation fee. After my dog was seen I already told them I can not afford it. Because my husband has a heart attack which is costing us $300k, Ambulance cost $2400.00 and all additional cost of the ER the Doctors at the Hospital , Cardiolo... read more

The absolute worst experience ever! I just moved to the area and was referred to this vet. My little Maltese Was overdue for one of her shots and so I called for an appointment for her shots and to add on a bath. I asked if the bath came with ear cleaning, nails and gland expression, I was told yes. I also asked about how long it would all take and I was told just a couple of hours. I have all her medical records sent over before her appointment. And when i bring her in, they tell me of some other shot I never even heard of... read more

AWFUL. I am new to the area and my first visit with them felt like I was more of an inconvenience than a new client . Front desk staff are noticeably unhappy and made me feel unwelcome. I gave them another chance thinking that maybe it was an off day ... booked my pomchi an appt. for a spay . Huge mistake . Turnover rate on doctors and vet techs have been way too noticeable. Would definitely like to hear other people's recommendations for a reliable vet. Why can't it be like a primary care doctor but for pets? Last couple visits have been very disappointing. My dog broke her dew claw and needed them to clip it past the wick (nerve). They said that they'd cut the other dew claw too for safe measure. Was charged but that service was not performed. At the time, I forgot to bring it up because I was just worried more for my dog. My husband and I just left the Emergency Vet after South Temecula Veterinary Hospital performed a so-called "emergency surgery" on our Pom-Chi but totally did not follow proper protocol for anything. This morning my husband and I woke up and our dog clearly had an anal gland abscess which ruptured almost instantly as soon as she jumped down from the bed. We immediately decided to take her in. If you really care about your pet, do not bring it here. I am a very caring dog owner, and any time Jake shows discomfort I bring him to the doctor. By August last year, I noticed he was breathing harder and has stiff rear legs, bring him to their clinic and the vet checked him , says is natural because he is old, overweight and has arthritis.
