Review is for their Pet Hotel: Our pup stayed at their pet hotel in March 2021 for a weekend... Never again. We checked her in near closing time and prior to booking, they stressed about how she needed shots in order to stay with them. It took a few minutes for them to tell me that they can give her shots prior to her stay. So when we dropped her off and showed the receptionist which shots she was missing, we figured they would give her the shots, especially since they couldn't accept her staying there without it. This place takes advantage of people that love their animals. I spent over two hours in a back waiting room while the staff did trade offs on lunch breaks. When they finally realized they forgot about me they rushed to give me a bill. Then could not explain why they didnt check for the issues the dog was there for. Ive had suspicions about what this place actually does compared to what they bill because everytime the vet gives conflicting information. We usually go to another vet down the street, however they could not get my dog same day so they suggested i go here. Big Mistake. Bed side manner with my dog is was terrible. My dog has a fox tail in her paw. I have three dogs and my other dogs had them before and i know the systems, how they look and how much the cost is. My dog just had a Splenectomy last month November 2022. Here is the pertinent information I can give pet lovers looking for a competent, trustworthy veterinary clinic. I will be FOREVER GRATEFUL to Dr. Ishikane for noticing that my dog had a noticeable area of enlargement possibly associated with his spleen, during his initial exam. This enlargement had been completely missed by SPRING VALLEY ANIMAL MEDICAL HOSPITAL when he had his dental work done the week after Dr. Ishikane's exam. The Vets and Vet Assistants at this location have always been professional and friendly. However, the office manager is rude and condescending. The lack of courtesy from the front desk staff is a reflection on her absence of manners and professionalism. If you have the misfortune of a conversation with her, good luck getting a word in as she incessantly speaks over her customers.

Unfortunately my family and I were conned here. This place quoted us $270 guaranteed out the door for our animal to be neutered after making multiple calls to other local vets. On pick up we got slammed with a bill almost double the cost for unwanted add ons including a mandatory first time Health Assessment, optional nausea medication, optional micro chipping, optional Rx sedative, and recovery cone that broke before we even got home. WORST experience i have ever had!!!! the vet was friendly at first until i told her i didn't have the money to pay for unnecessary blood work and fluid to be administered to my puppy. made me feel like i didn't care about the safety and well being of my puppy. their quote for everything they wanted to do brought my total to $550!!!!! only thing positive i can say is they were able to see my puppy last minute on a sunday. i will NEVER be back. i felt embarrassed and pissed off. making me feel that way was completely uncalled ... read more

Extremely unprofessional. I scheduled my cat for boarding on Friday, May 20th, and after fulfilling their vacc requirements on Monday, May 23rd I emailed them copies of all of her medical records (records sent Monday afternoon, responding to the email that they had sent me on the Friday after I set up her boarding). Arrogant and rude staff , i had spoke to someone to talk about rescheduling for my pet, and this person just boiled my nerves, just canceled its unaccepatable how ypu spoke to your customer like that.,
