We are in a remote area and it was a 71 mile drive to get our service dog "Boy" to the closet emergency room and I had called 6 vets within 50 miles who All referred me here. From the very 1st call, upon reaching the facility, every staff people took interest and guided us through everything in such a way that I can only say thank you all, especially the doctor who allowed us all to be there in the room when Boy passed. Long review I’m sorry in advance. I took my cat in late at night on March 30th or 31st. We called ahead to explain her symptoms and we were advised to bring her in ASAP and they would be ready for her. We get there and they take her immediately and have us in a room in about 5 minutes. They explain to us her condition in a compassionate but urgent tone and advise us that she didn’t have a high chance of making it so we ultimately decided to put her down to ease her pain. I am giving this facility a 5 ! Every person I dealt with was kind and patient to me and my little cat. Dr Thomas, Dr Gray and Dr Kalams called and left updates on procedures for me- the most critical one, at 10 pm the first day. Marie, one of the technicians took the time to explain the procedures ( again, even though the Dr's had, I realized I hadn't quite understood it all the first time!). I had to take my dog in to this hospital last Sunday. It was over an hour long drive. My dog had eaten something very harmful to her. She was stumbling around and super sick. She's usually full of energy because she is a 4 year old Border Collie. I was scared and worried about taking her to this place because of some of the reviews. I was on a road trip and in the middle of no where when my dog started screaming in pain and stopped being able to walk. We were 45 minutes away from this clinic. I called ahead and they set up a chart over the phone. When I got there, they immediately had a tech come out to assess him. Their emergency prices compared to many other places are extremely reasonable. Their staff and doctors are personable and amazing. They saved my dog’s life.
