I cannot tell you in enough words how satisfied I have been from having Jake as a lender for our first house! We have worked with him for almost a year and every single time we talked, wether through email or in person, he was so nice and understanding and informative and kind! Any question I had (and I had quite a few of them) he was sure to answer them thoroughly! This has been a roller coaster of a process and I don’t think it could have been any better without Jake! Brian was very responsive throughout the process. We were first-time home buyers, and Brian was able to answer all our questions in a very timely manner. He helped us close on a beautiful house in a highly compressed time frame, and we appreciate his efforts. While we unfortunately never got the opportunity to meet Brian in-person, we were very satisfied with the loan experience.

Jake Smith and his team from Southern Trust did a phenomenal job of assisting my wife and I through the process to finance our new home. Due to delays outside of the builder's control, interest rates increased over the 18 months from when we signed our contract to when the home was completed. As a result, our mortgage rate was higher than originally anticipated. Otherwise, the process was seamless and went very smoothly.
Jake was very helpful in getting me through the lending process. I am a first-time buyer and Jake answered all my questions and made the entire process a breeze.
