This review is a little late but I brought my pup here for about 6 years and they were always able to get her in for appointments. We primarily saw Dr Lee but also saw Dr Freidenson our last appointment when Dr Lee was pulled in for an emergency. Everyone was so kind. I recommend this clinic to everyone for their pet due to their wide range of services as well as their emergency capabilities. First and foremost, this clinic has 24/7 staff, and the ability to do urgent/emergency appointments as well as treatment. While they're a 'regular' vet as well, my review is from my emergency experience, which should be considered separately from their everyday veterinary services. My dog became lethargic and vomited a few times, and of course, it was on a Friday. I had to bring my dog in for an emergency visit and while on the phone making the emergency appointment the rep was transparent on what pricing to expect. I was advised the emergency initial exam fee is $180 and got in half an hour later. As soon as we checked we were brought back to a private room and seen immediately. The staff were all friendly and patient with my rambunctious little fluff ball who didn't even realize we were there for something serious because he was getting so many treats. I have gone to Southview since before they moved to the new location and I have always had great experiences. Friendly staff and knowledgeable veterinarians (who are friendly too!) I love the option of urgent care and have never had a problem getting in.

Our 15 year old Irish Setter had the best life we could give him. We brought him to Southview Animal Hospital in hopes of giving him a little more. Unfortunately his time with us was ending. The entire staff helped us with such compassion to bring his time to a close and end his suffering. We are very grateful to you.

Took our dog to the urgent care. Was charged $140 just because it was urgent. When we got there I told the Dr our dog was having bloody stools. I gave her a stool sample. They drew blood and a urine sample. The Dr did not even open the stool sample. They have no laboratory on site. They send everything out. It will be 2-3 days until they get anything back. They sent me home with Probiotics and gave me a bill for $461 for absolutely nothing! Now I will have to take the dog to a real vet clinic that has a laboratory on site. D... read more

I took my cat to Southview last night for an egg-sized abscess on her belly. I scheduled with them at 8 pm after being turned away by two other emergency hospitals that were full. The staff was excellent, and the hospital overall had a very kind and caring feeling, not chaotic like many hospitals.
