Terrible experience with sales here. Saleswoman became incredibly rude when I informed her I need to shop around some more before a major purchase. Even if I do purchase a Toyota, it will most definitely not be at Sparks Toyota!
I travel for work and took my new 2023 Toyota Corolla for it first oil change at 8500 miles there. The tires have nitrogen and green valve stems caps. The tech took the caps off I guess to check the pressure which was unnecessary and didn’t put back on. In addition after driving the car from Myrtle Beach to Greenville heard a noise from underneath the car. Pulled over and found the plastic oil pan cover hanging down. We did not have a good experience, but they did make it right in the end after multiple phone calls, including to corporate, and public posts. I’d highly recommend reading through all paperwork carefully and making sure you’re getting the exact car you want, not something they just happen to have coming in soon.
Customer service could use a lot of work.
Recommendedwell, what started out as a horrible experience was only saved by a sevice manager who did the right thing. Here is my warning....be SURE to carefully read that paper they give you to sign to service. Notice how they have worded it, or it could end up costing you a lot of money. That was the first problem. If it is not worded how you said it, have them redo it before you sign. Called about a used Highlander. Sales told me he would have to check to see if vehicle was still in inventory, his only interest was for to come in on a vehicle they obviously don’t have in stock. Received no call back and sales people don’t understand they are missing opportunities. Long time Toyota family member but that could change as Sparks doesn’t have interest.
Brought truck for service on trailer brake control . I advised them of problem but never advised to bring trailer. Two hours later said it was fixed it is not and told if not you would have to bring trailer why not say that in first place. A 142.00 service fee not fixed and very disappointed customer poor service
Charged me 97.00 dollars for a oil change and had no new cars to buy. Will not go back 😡😡😡
Put deposit down, agreed on price and when the vehicle came in they wanted to add a 10k market adjustment. My family has purchased 7 vehicles from Sparks and we will not EVER purchase another one from them. It’s a short drive to Florence
