Steven and his team were always there to help. I could call any time and get assistance with whatever it was that I needed. If they weren't able to answer the phone when I called, they usually called back within a matter of minutes.
Steven was a pleasure to work with. He was quick to respond to all phone calls and emails. We had a short closing and he was able to accommodate for our needs.
Admittedly, I initially chose Guaranteed Rate for the opportunity to qualify for a grant. When the program changed I was disappointed and thought to try a different lender. However, GR proved to be a great choice. Steven was very responsive and eager to help. He made himself available more often than not. It would have been helpful to receive timely info about the closing process and down payment options to prevent surprises. Although his team made an oversight, I would recommend Guaranteed Rate to others.
This is the second mortgage we've gotten through Steven & his team at Rate.com They were excellent again, allowing us to the close a week earlier than originally planned. I love that pretty much everything with the loan can be done online, it is much more convenient and easier to work with.
