Stiern vet is the best. I have taken both of my kitties here for spay and neuter. Each time was a very professional and compassionate visit. They take good care of your fur-babies here. Just call, set up an appointment, and drop them off on your appointment date between 7:30-8am and when they are done, they'll call or text and than go and pick them up! Procedure is not that long at all, 2-3 hours and both my kitties bounced right back to their normal selves soon after we picked them up. I get good vibes from this place, ... read more

Absolutely love this vet. The entire staff is amazing and so compassionate. I will never go to another vet. They can get you in within a reasonable amount of time and take their time with you. The best in town!

I LOVE STIERN VET HOSPITAL! More importantly, my pets LOVE STIERN VET TOO! Recently, my beloved JoJo and Henry were put down. It was so difficult. Both dogs were elderly and suffering. The doctors, vet techs, and even the receptionists were compassionate, understanding, and sympathetic. We received a memory paw print and very kind cards with a hand written note by the vet. Everyone at STIERN vet loves pets, and it shows through my pet's response to going to the vet! My dogs stayed at STIERN for a week and came home happy!

Dr Paulden has been doing everything she can to help my mini schnauzer. I don't even live in Bakersfield but I had to go see her from LA. We spoke after his visit over the phone and she's still doing everything she can without having to do anything invasive on my dog. If or when that has so happen I trust her so much with my dog. She's amazing

Recently took my pug here to get spayed and they were so so good about everything!! Checking her in and out was super easy and they were really flexible about pick up times!! Would definitely recommend this hospital to others and for her to get spayed it was about ~$165 which is great for females nonetheless a 15 pound pug!!

Well it seems that every time i update my review here now is when one of my and my sons sweet babies passes :(....I literally couldn't even write that one sentence without tears welling up in my eyes geez!! I shall get through this.... My son and i had rescued our bunny from my front lawn he actually was the neighbourhood bunny we'd been feeding him veggies for a while at that point and he was so very sweet he'd come up to the back glass door and sit and wait at my mat for his veggies and my sons loved him!! We have been using Stiern for over 15 years. They have been there for our dogs from puppies to our goodbyes. They have always been professional and compassionate. The staff is always kind, caring and helpful.

I have seen Dr Eric Bollier for 25 years and have always had a excellent experience. I have had to put down sick dogs and keep healthy several other loved pets. Dr Bollier and his entire staff are always caring , kind and professional. Thank you to all at this location .
