Waited an hour for food !!!!! Really???
Food portions were smaller than previous visits. The garlic mashed potatoes were dry and lacked flavor. Lighting was dimmer than desired. Nothing special was offered for our birthday person!
Food took a long time to arrive. Filets are overpriced. Ordered the 8 oz and was more like a 7 oz filet. Manager showed us the 6 oz filet which was more like a 4 oz filet. Wife’s steak was ordered to be medium rare and arrived medium. Waited too Lang and was too hungry to send it back. Will think twice about going again.
We waited for our drinks 40 minutes and then received our dinners 2 hours later. It was busy in the beginning but after the first 30 minutes. It died down. We had a party of 8 and spent $300 in there to receive poor service. The 14 oz. Prime rib special for $26 was half fat as well.
We had reservations for 7:00 pm sat in bar area at a table. Getting drinks took awhile. It was busy but getting drinks should be relatively easy. Food came in a somewhat timely fashion but each of us had a vegetable that was cold. I love coming to Stone Creek and usually have a 5 star experience but not this time. And the noise was terrible, we honestly could not hear the person right next to us talk.
I got the combo with battered shrimp and salmon. The shrimp was too salty to eat and overcooked. The salmon was cooked appropriately but still salty. The lobster Mac and cheese was so watery it was like eating soup and completely favorless. The asparagus was mushy. I typically do not like to leave negative reviews but we only chose this restaurant because the reviews for it were so incredibly good and we've have amazing experiences at other Cunningham group restaurants. We were very disappointed and left hungry.
Our service was not good at all. In fact I’d like to have a conversation about it
My steak was ordered med rare. It came to the table extremely rare. The second time it wasn't much better but I accepted it but would have enjoyed it more if it had been done medium rare as I orderee
Our food came out and mine was not prepared the way I asked and had to be sent back while my husband started eating. Then he cut into his steak and it had to be sent back because it was extremely undercooked and he finished the rest of his sides while waiting for his steak. Very disappointing!
