The food was not very good on the buffet-- cold-needed to be refilled-- We ordered Bloody Mary's and they were horrible. Very watered down, no spice. Very disappointed in the over all experience. Will not go back.
Service good and prompt. Not sure about cook's understanding is about Med-well vs med rare. Ordered med well both steaks were well under cooked and lots of red appeared. After returning steaks (and after after other food consumed), good taste.
The restaurant was very busy. Lots of prom couples. The food was good and our waitress was very attentive, but the kitchen was backed up. It took a really long time to get our food. It's been that way the last 3 times we have been there. I think they need to hire more cooks.
We made reservations for Saturday 7:30p but were not seated until 8:05p. No communication from the hostess as to why the delay or that there would be a delay. We brought family here from out of town for a special occasion. Server was overwhelmed by other tables. We got waters, then drink order after 15 minutes. 10 min after that food order. Our server wasn't all that busy but yet I ran out of water twice. My meal was an entree salad with dressing requested on the side and it arrived drenched in dressing. I couldn't eat it. They took the entree salad off our bill and offered to remake it but by that time, it was late in the meal and I wasn't hungry for it (I had been taking bites from others at our table as they offered to share).
Service was a bit slow as I think the waitress had too many tables.
Did not like being in the basement nor the very smell table which was wobbly. We had to keep our feet on the base to keep it still.
I think you need more items on your menu we have dinned at Stone Creek numerous times over the last few year. The menu changes somewhat not for the good. Seafood items on the menu are not very tasty and I have had the scallops in the past and they just are never cooked the same usually underdone.
Even with our reservation we were seated in the basement. The upstairs was very nice but the basement was sparce and unappealing. I ordered the ribeye, rare with garlic mashed potatoes and grilled asparagus. My steak was closer to medium well than rare and my potatoes were dry, Luke warm and flavorless. My husband has the filet medallions and they were perfection but the rosotto was mushy and bland. Not worth the $90 we spent for a sub par dinner.
