June 8, 2014: Had beef medallions . . . chewy, only warm. Had to ask for ice in glasses of water. Expensive drinks - Chicago prices! Way over valued and over priced. Zionsville has several other fine places to dine.
Went for Mothers Day Brunch. They did not serve buffet this year but had a Brunch /lunch menu. They seemed overwhelmed. Took 45 min + to be served and waitress was awol. Food was OK but they need to get their act together or go back to buffet for busy days like Mothers day.
We have gone to Stone Creek on Easter in the past and really enjoyed the brunch buffet. When I made reservations this year, I wasn't told the buffet was a thing of the past. Our reservation was at 1:30. The "brunch menu" was breakfast. Both the hostess and the waiter said, "They didn't want to continue the brunch". I had a reservation on Opentable (where I specifically requested a high chair) and then when we got there on time (and had to wait for our table to be set-up) I requested it again. When they finally took us back to the table, it didn't have a high chair and they didn't have enough menus. Service just went downhill from there. Our server couldn't remember the special and when he finally told us, he said that it was sea bass with scallops. In fact, there were no scallops in the special. Service incredibly slow. Took over 20 minutes just to take order and server had too many tables so was just never there when you needed him. We like the food and has good kids menu but will not return if service stays like this,
