Disappointing visit. Service has always been good in the bar, we decided try the restaurant, but won't make that mistake again. Everything took way too long (waited on drinks, waited on salads and appetizers, waited on entrees). We had to repeatedly ask the waiter why there was a delay, we constantly had to get his attention (instead of him checking the table to see what we needed). We were nearly the only people seated in the bar area, and yet the service was extrememly slow.
Our waitress made it clear she wanted to be anywhere but at work serving us. I ordered a fillet, medium well, and a salad. My husband ordered a pasta dish. We received our entrees... no salads. I cut into my steak and it was all but rare. The waitress did not check on us for some time. When I advised her my steak was undercooked, she half-apologized. Went on a Monday evening. The resturant was fairly croweded but the service was slow. Appitizers were good but main course over seasoned. Wine list was good and had a 50% off special for any bottle of wine under $100.

When I made the reservation I was asked if I had any special instructions for the Matra' D & I did. I explained that our party of 6 we have a person who is handicapped & 2 kids that need highchairs. When we got to the restaurant they tried to take us upstairs then they tried to seat us at a booth that you could hardly get in&out of with 2 Toddlers & a 75 yr old Man with a prosthetic leg who has a walker. We went to Stonecreek to celebrate our anniversary. What a disappointment. The waitress never came back to check on us. The food was really bad. In fact, I did not eat but a few bites and the waitress didn't even ask how we liked the food when she cleared our table. We even asked for bread to another waiter who walked by so I could have SOMETHING to eat. He assured us he'd bring it right away. He never showed up again. Disappointing Easter buffet. Overpriced for selection of food. We typically love this place and can usually count on the food & service meeting or exceeding our expectations. Very disappointed.
The drinks & salads were great, but my entree tasted like bad fish. It had a moldy flavor to the tilapia, though the accompanying ingredients (shrimp and polenta) were delicious. The manager was nice about it and brought me a sea bass entree instead, but the ingredients of that special just didn't go together well.
