They were very upfront and clear. I choose the full engie change. There were a few items from the full diagnosis that I felt shouldn't be needed after a full engine changed that really could save me money like the coolant flush and thermostat change. But overall I was pleased with thier quote.

Performed the service in a timely manner and I was surprised it was done earlier than I thought it would be. This was my first time here and I'm definitely coming back. Friendly and stress free like their name says. Plus, they communicate by text and send pictures while the work is being done. I loved that and the transparency.

I called and requested an oil change and the next day they were able to get me in on my time I showed up and they were very nice the quality of work was good and for the value of the money I had a great experience I was able to wait for my oil change and as I was waiting I was offered coffee and snacks I highly recommend this location for any type of service on your vehicle they are very upfront and text you throughout the whole waiting. It was also no pressure to get extra things done on my vehicle

Service was fantastic. They sent pictures to my phone so I could see damage brakes and oil leak in my pan. Very knowledgeable and friendly.

I was immediately greeted when I walked in. I needed an oil change and believed I also needed new brakes. Aftet service was completed, I also received an email with a link of my vehicle inspection which lists anything that may need work. I was pleased when Kenny told me I did not need new brakes at this time. Thank you Kenny for your honesty and not trying to sell me any repairs my car did not need. I will definitely be returning. Awesome service no price haggling they were quick, efficient, respectful, and professional. I'm definitely using their company again. I hope I'm getting Kenny's name right? He was stellar and to the techs? Thank you guys for getting me in and out. I loved getting the texts and calls letting me know my car was ready. They even washed it! Naaa I'm just kidding. Gotcha!!

I was at the beginning of a 12-hour drive, with a flight to catch at the end, when my alternator and battery went out. It was early morning, and when I called Joel, he got me in quickly so I could get back on my way to Colorado. He was kind, professional, and HONEST! As a woman traveling alone, it's good to know that I'm getting honest treatment and a good deal. If I lived in Montclair, Joel's automotive would be my first choice. I can't say enough good things about this establishment!

100% customer satisfaction. Was driving car and it slowly started shutting down on me. Called AAA and they gave me a list of business, I chose Joel's being that they had a key drop off overnight box. Come to find out I needed a new alternator and battery, car was ready for pickup within a day and a half. Great staff and workmanship.
